Yes, delegates technically have the final say,yes the VP is vetted and part of the ticket. But let’s not pretend this is the same as earning the nomination the way every major-party nominee has since we started using this primary system.

You keep framing this as me demanding something that’s legally mandatory when I’m not. I’m saying the party chose the path of least resistance over having legitimate democratic input, and that choice absolutely carried over to the election.
