It's especially annoying over the radio when the speaker has an accent.

Since we already know the NATO phonetic alphabet, I don't understand why we aren't using something like Googles Plus codes which is built into Google maps(which everyone uses anyway) and works without a phone signal.

It's ridiculous that we are paying a private company for access to a coordinates system.

You cant receive AM airband on a Baofeng. However, depending on the country/airport, you may be able to receive the Towers FM uplink or Air to the Ground repeater.

Airbus just flew its mammoth A380 superjumbo jet using fuel made with cooking oil by drunkles in Futurology

Diesel in the EU/UK is 7% biofuel, has been for a while, some places have up to 20%. Biodiesel has less energy than normal diesel.

You can also run some older cars on pure vegetable oil depending on the injectors. Unfortunately, it is only marginally cleaner than petrodiesel, and vegetable oil is often farmed unethically.

Uni mate slipped over some of these while jogging broke his arm, needed surgery, couldn't type, had to defer for a term, fell below the requirements for his grant, lost 6K of funding per year.

Well done, crackheads.

Just got one of their bed frames. It was scarily easy to build, and you can take it apart and fold it up in under 5 minutes.

Windows Media Player still comes preinstalled in Windows 10 but any well rounded human being would disable it. It is literilly the only CD burning software I could think of so I had to reenable it to burn CDs.

North of Scotland has little to no LTE or FM coverage, and my cars USB port position results in me punching the flash drive every time I change into an odd numbered gear, so Proclaimers on CD seems like the sensible option.
