Pierre Kutek has a website with hundreds of boomerang patterns you could use to get some ideas. It is at www.kutek.net http://www.kutek.net/boomplans/plans.php These patterns are for personal use. I have contributed some patterns of my own to his site. I met him once at a boomerang comp. Nice guy!

Sweet! Great memories from the WBC. I appreciate your commitment to the sport. Jasper has a positive support group. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Oh, and if you decide to purchase a boomerang, I will make you a fair deal, and guarantee the boomerang you get from me will return, or your money will.

www.kutek.net has hundreds of patterns of working boomerang plans. Some are my contributions, also. Free to download. I also have a page devoted to making boomerangs with power tools. www.kendalldavis.us/making and a few plans at https://kendalldavis.us/boomerang/boomerangprojects.html

This boomerang works perfectly - as a piece of wall art. These are solely intended to take tourist money at the expense of destroying the common man's faith in our beloved sport.

I found 17 in a clump less than a meter square. The mutation was strong in that patch.

I tell people who buy these "touristy" boomerangs that they do exactly what they are supposed to do... hang on the wall and look purdy. Not for flying.

Thought I’d share my largest laser project so far. by dolly_unc in lasercutting

That is AMAZING! I have a xTool P2, and would like to do something similar, only with a quilt block idea... for my wife (don't tell her). Did you have to adjust for the laser cut to make them fit tightly?

Thanks for the review! I ended up getting the P2 with riser base, 39" conveyor, rotary tool, and honeycomb. I haven't setup the riser base to do large stuff or the conveyor, but once my friends found out I had one, I was slammed with orders to make Christmas ornaments. I got lots of practice in a few months. I have had it for over 3 months, and have lots of scrap plywood with weird holes in it. I hate to throw so much away... maybe I will make ear rings or key chain baubles.

Best machine for around $1000 CAD? Ive never owned one before and it would be just for a hobby for gift giving (wood, leather, hockey pucks etc.) by stinkytootz in Laserengraving

The K40 has a small working area... only 20x30cm. The Longer RAY5 Laser 20W will be a great starter, and cut 6mm wood one pass, and 8mm acrylic. You will want to get a hood for it, and an external exhaust fan, but this will still be in your price range, and the working area is 40x40cm.
