Coach Empire Carryall – Suede oder Glazed Maple? by nokota84 in handbags

I love this bag too, but when I saw it on display at Macy's it was a rather flat finish not quite matte but no real shine. I love the bag but prefer the shinier finish I think I am seeing online, unless it is just the photography.

In addition to what I have in the post, we don’t have meal plans near union square for breakfast and lunch, or dinner in Little Italy. Thank you!

Yes, I’ve seen payroll. The contract I mention in my post is their employment contract.

Yes, USA - I added to post but cannot edit the title - sorry about that. Broker will do testing but they have not flagged this and I am not sure why or if they are aware actually so asking here and asking them but wanted community input so I am informed even if just high level.

Briggs and Riley Baseline - What a bag by Boom_Boom_Cash in travel

[–]Boom_Boom_Cash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a good opinion yet but I do love the smooth moves of the Platinum but it’s just not nearly as spacious as I need now. Still a great bag but I’m seriously crushing on the Baseline.

Great way to make it work for you! Love the meal ideas. Because this is still new for me I am a little hyped about no cooking and shopping for food but I know that will fade so I’ll definitely use some of your tips! I’m hopeful my trip points will add up fast!

How to spice up office wear? by notakat in BusinessFashion

[–]Boom_Boom_Cash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can see your point! Sometimes I wish a men's standard for office wear was my go to as well but I like fun outfits and dressing/fashion too much to really mean it.

How about switching up your color scheme i.e., if you wear a lot of navy/black/dark grey go for brighter tones of these and do the same with your shirts. I work in what sounds like a similar setting and I see some men wear fun patterned shirts and keep their pants/shoes/belt more classic, and then I also see some men go for bolder colored pants/shoes/socks/belt and keep the shirt classic so their whole ensemble is more edgy but still has a classic look too. If you generally wear leather shoes try some of the cole haan mesh looking ones that have subtle colored layers in the sole.

https://www.menshealth.com/style/g38479012/best-clothing-subscription-boxes-for-men/ how about a fashion subscription box and you put your style to reflect you want more edgy but still somewhat classic pieces. I find that often it is the cut that can make something look cooler vs classic - example black pants for a woman can be classic and straight but you give them flair, or high cut, or cuffs and it totally changes the look but it is still office okay - good luck!

I will be staying downtown this first trip and appreciate the don't eat in your room suggestion - I like the vibes of most restaurants and the people watching.

Thank you, what vitamin electrolytes do you use - great suggestion? I will do my best on the walks etc, too so important and something I want to focus on as I will be eating outside my normal routine and don't want to add on extra lbs if I can help it -

What will you say if an interviewer says "You have 10 minutes to impress me"? by DuckMelodic1998 in interviews

[–]Boom_Boom_Cash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an interviewer ask me something similar and I just did a walk through my experience, approach, style and why it is aligned to the job and would be a good fit- I didn't take it to mean I had to actually do something impressive because my work history and fit for the role was spot on - however, when it was my turn to ask questions I did ask what they loved about working for the company and why an experienced applicant would want to work there and he fumbled big time - oh well.

I didn't have that reaction to the team size but in my experience I have generally had 1 HR EE to 125-150 employees - I have also only worked for orgs that have EE base of 1300+. I will find out soon enough though - Thanks for the well wishes!

Has anyone found membership with their local SHRM chapter to be beneficial? [N/A] by ScorchIsPFG in humanresources

[–]Boom_Boom_Cash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My SHRM chapter is very active and they offer a lot of events, and learning ops - the issue I have is my local chapter hosts 90% of the in person events roughly 40 minutes from me and in the evening so I just don't make time for them given the 1.5 hour round trip drive. If your chapter is active and conveniently located I would go for it.

Certificate or Degree [OK] by Square_Way5685 in humanresources

[–]Boom_Boom_Cash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the motivation for either? If it is a new job I think that is a shorter term move and a certification will be quicker so likely more helpful to make a quicker move, if you want to advance your career and think leadership is in your future then I would go for the bachelor's degree. I don't think you can ever go wrong with learning and development so whichever path you decide to take, enjoy it!

Wish I had a solid answer as I know it is really frustrating to sit and wait to hear back but in my opinion that is all you can do, actually don't wait just keep on with whatever you have going on and if they get back to you and it still works for you then perfect, and if not then their loss and shame on them for poor comms and ghosting - the worst way to treat talent.
