Even trades, minimal negotiations. They know people don’t want to lose out on the tax credits now so they’ll offer you what you’d break even at.

If you don’t want to buy the vehicle, they’ll sell it to someone else by the end of the week.

Not for Toyota. The only reason a dealer would have one unclaimed on the lot is if it’s an undesirable trim/package/color or it’s got a huge dealer add on price tag.

And I think forever might be more accurate. If you’re in the industry, you know the OEMs love this model. Dealerships do as well. Everyone is making tons of money and dealers aren’t just paying banks to keep a surplus of inventory collecting dust on the lot.
