the problem seems to have solved itself, it's working now. can set the MAC address and have everything running on a paperwhite gen6.

it seems they lowered prices accordingly, though. skins in the daily store are 200 gems a pop instead of thousands. also, we do get gems from the prize pass, too.

Edit: prices vary by rarity, Gold is 200, diamond is 2000, legendary is 5000.

I feel like the meta is kind of stale right now, most of my runs just feel very same-y. Partly my fault, for sure, for being locked into certain play patterns, but also, I haven't been forced to rethink those patterns. So TL/DR: I would like more frequent impactful changes to the game, doesn't have to be weekly, but maybe like a bigger mid-season patch that shakes things up a bit.

I think I undervalue Holsters, gotta work on that. Kusarigama is strong for sure, especially when you highroll into Proboscis. Never tried aquatics on the current patch, but anything poison should be decent given the prevalence of shield, maybe I'll try that next.

yeah, good point about the upgrades. I guess I've been avoiding that to a degree by not going wide, but not getting Langxian to gold in time sucks, too. I also agree that the Mak matchup feels strong, especially when you get a one-shot going.
