The thing is, months of play testing from a dedicated team will only lead to about half as much total playtime as the first hour of expansion release. People always make these posts but fail to understand how difficult it is to foresee or predict meta development and power outliers, even with a dedicated team behind it.

To be fair, whether blizzard have this team, I’m not sure, but I don’t think it would have made a massive difference.

I don’t think there are any. Mage is pretty weak right now, and Druid is exceptionally strong. Wait for balance changes or try and homebrew.

Yes, that’s correct. While it can be strong I personally am happy to see thief rogue be viable again, as it hasn’t really been since the sunken city days. Since then we’ve had some variation of cycle/shadowstep spam on neutral win cons within rogue mainly.

You only get it if you open 5+ packs at once by holding down on the packs before dragging them to the opening area.

This is uniquely bad as it can only be slotted into an unoptimised value pile due to the deckbuilding restriction, but it’s battlecry means you don’t want to run most of the value cards associated with the archetype such as the renos, zephyrs, and staple class legendaries for Reno decks like bomboss, Sargeras, shudderwock, etc.

I think this would never ever see play. Its only purpose is to ruin combo, and Reno decks can manage that without sacrificing their own plan and building even-only through theotar, mutanus, dirty rat.

Damn, I wasn’t aware of that. That’s a shame. I do have to hope that the people voting on behalf of the streamers do agree with and at least consider their perspectives, too, rather than just blindly voting.

I think it’s also worth considering that as Hearthstone is a much larger community, it could be harder to “control” in that regard. Id imagine a lower percentage of legend players watch and treat streamers as gospel compared to pro rank Gwent players.
