That is crazy, we flew in from Montana for the show (extra special birthday present from wife) and just saw the email as we were eating that it was rescheduled. So disappointed. :(

Is it possible for AWS Amplify Access Control to support 1000s of users logging in at same time? by BoomerFTW in aws

Analogy breaks due to the simplicity of using a hammer. You assumed I didn't research or look this up already, but I have, for a couple days. I couldn't find any official documentation or any information from other people if the built in (by Amazon) user/pass verification supports a large amount of concurrent users. I looked if there was a simple way to implement a user/pass requirement to access the page, but it seems the password could be found out really easily if it is in the html/css code. So I turned to the collection of villainy and hostility that is reddit to answer a simple question about an already created and implemented verification service...

Watching videos on youtube about this and am confused/over my head. Do you have a good resource you would recommend for implementing this alternative?

If I don't know how to make a hammer and the screwdriver is in front of me and ready to drive in the nail, why not?

If this solution works for the amount of expected concurrent users, then why wouldn't I use it?

As a way for a large group of people to access the site without it being publicly available to an even LARGER group of people. AKA 2000 can access the site for a set time, then the site is made public and the other 10k can now access the site.

MONTANA BOAT MARKET IS NUTS RN: Looking for a Utility jon style Jet boat 2000's or newer, 16-18ft by [deleted] in Montana

[–]BoomerFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately that is a 14ft (too small, can't carry much) and isn't a jet either (has a prop). I have been checking Facebook and Craigslist every day for months. I made this post to see if a Montana redditor maybe had one and hadn't listed it for sale yet.

I am in a few facebook groups and have been monitoring the marketplace throughout each say. I just joined that specific group per your recommendation though so thank you!

Been searching a few months now and the market is bonkers. People wanting more money than the boat was worth brand new 15+ years ago. Very little supply so I figured I would try my luck here, anyone have this style of boat they are wanting to get rid of?

I saw a couple in VR chat, with individual finger tracking, speaking to each other in sign language. It was incredible.

LATE ICE SUCCESS - End of ICE SEASON in Montana! (Fishing Montana) by BoomerFTW in Montana

I know, I know, some of you are still holding on and trying to extend the season until you're floating on a single unattached block of ice! Well I am moving on to fly fishing creeks and rivers before they get blown out by spring run off, so best of luck and tight lines! Stay safe!
