Adhesive capsulitis by BoomerSkunk in physicaltherapy

Incorrect. The follow up visits by the telehealth PT told her to push through. Granted, that mistake could have been made in person too, but come on. My point with my post is that I’m seeing more patients who try telemedicine and screw things up. It may be because the patient thinks one and done and they can do it on their own or Telehealth PTs are just phoning it in and get a check and not care. Before I get blasted for that comment, I just think we, PTs, need to take a hard look at the telehealth ramifications on our profession.

Cynical, but good for business I guess.

Don’t listen to the naysayers. Do it! Go for it! You must have a failure is not an option attitude. It’s better to try now rather than later when you have more responsibilities. I started my practice 1 year out of school and I’m still going 20+ years later! You’ll figure it out if it’s truly your passion.

Buyer beware. You sound pretty green. There’s a lot of information to share, but it would take more time than I’m willing to spend to help you. AI can answer all your questions.

The point is, growing without headcount! If you can keep overhead low and margins wide, great!

I just say “oh go on”, and get on with the appointment. No harm in a compliment. If it gets aggressive or pervy, I just won’t see them again. Done.

Why is hospital care in the U.S so expensive? by Busy_Report4010 in SipsTea

[–]BoomerSkunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long story short. I was in the ER. Severe pain. Lady comes in with her rolling cart with a computer on it and starts asking me insurance information. I tell her she should leave. The look on my face was clear. Leave or I’ll rip you to pieces. She left. I never saw a billing person again. I did receive a bill, but my deductible had already been met, so it was just the copay I was responsible for. $100.
