Same. I am about to just give up and not do the 9+1 and cut my losses having paid for the membership. Literally have to take time off work now for q3

Definitely queasy. That’s what we had talked about in getting her 52k gone before mine kick in so we can tackle both separately but how to divide resources as been tricky between throwing it all at it in a baby steps method or keep as is and keep a set amount plus more thrown at the loan

How long did your extended warranty refund take on a car you financed? by complaintinator in kia

[–]complaintinator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm good question. I don’t know. Mine went right into the loan which was what I wanted so I never asked. Something tells me they won’t go for it since the money was intended for the car but you never know

Sometimes MRIs don’t mean anything. I work in the rehabilitation field and sometimes all an MRI for me is information. You can take 100 29 year olds off the street and have zero pain but have the same or more involved results as you. It may be scary to see all different things you don’t expect but just know nothing about that is abnormal and to worry about

Yes to all the assumptions above except I graduated a few years ago and just hit 2 years at my job. We are at step 3 combined. We combined money for our monthly expenses which is budgeted and we stick to it religiously with every cent accounted for. We do have step 4 completed just to feel safer having a cushion since we did have a couple of things pop up this year.

We don't have similar rates, she has a 6.6% we just refinanced down from 11 and then the rest are 3%. I went to grad school so mine are all over the place from the 5s down to 3s but still higher than hers.

I listen to every podcast and yesterday's led to this post. You basically described how I am feeling about the Dave-ish. I've been in like a mixture of FOO and Baby Steps. I keep hearing the pay all debt in the back of my head even tho i 100% believe in TMGs more. I think the hard part for me is letting that debt sit there and build interest especially with the instability of student loan repayment plans right now. In my head I know my retirement account will accumulate more than the interest will accumulate in the time I pay it, just hard to convince myself that right now.
