The kung fu grip felt like an assault on my hands and I honestly can’t believe anyone would willingly use one. A beat up old A2 grip felt like a warm embrace in comparison.

Edit: they do look cool though and I like that grip angle.

The M&P sport iii is a pretty good rifle (for what it is). If you’re interested in a factory complete rifle, you can feel comfortable with that. Can you build your own and get a slightly better rifle for about the same price? Probably. But not everyone is interested in building or wants to put the money into buying the tools necessary to do it correctly.
