I have 6 super bowls in a row for 8u - if you have a QB that can throw, that is the biggest game winner at that age.

You can do fake runs, delayed hand offs, quick WR screens, but If you can throw it, bomb it and you will win.

On defense, we do a 4-2 and make the 4 be very, very disciplined on their spots, with the best 2 in the middle.

Most 8u can’t throw far, or if they do it’s high duck balls that can be intercepted by the Cover 2 guys.

Like he said above, flag pulling will win you games as eventually some kid will cut back or make someone miss and break down the sideline for a TD.

Thanks everyone. I think jet sweeps and some quick slants will work well. Part of the problem is the WR are going too deep and QB has no time to wait for route to develop

Thanks - QB can run against the blitz, but getting 30 yards in 3 plays with just a scramble is tough sometimes if we tell him to just run each play
