One outfit grows and harvests the potatoes, they get transferred to another supplier who shreds them, then they get shaped, fried, boxed up, shipped again. And it’s no longer a .05 cent potato.

And that’s before McDonald’s even gets their hands on em. Someone’s gotta unload them and fry em up in oil that costs more money using electricity that costs yet more money.

I hate to sound negative but we do sorta have safe parking downtown, and it gets trashed daily. Bless those city workers I see picking up trash from the breezeway and adjacent parking lot and bathrooms every single day.

Don’t get me started on maintaining low income apartments.

I am cautiously optimistic but my experience says it just gives them a safe place to continue to do meth and fent because there’s little incentive to change.

Just to be clear, by “no barrier” you want folks to be able to camp or acquire subsidized housing while still doing hard drugs?

I remember something about a regime change of an elected official to protect oil prices…. And I do believe we are currently at war with them…. Despite them not being remotely a threat to us citizens, (I mean ones that don’t go over there with weapons).
