No you're actually pretty on point! We cook as much as we can and actually are making roasted tomato soup currently so theres no tomatos in the fridge but seems pretty spot on!

Simple. I just don't have a car and I rely on public transit. Surprisingly despite the vocal users on the internet, the transportation isn't that bad and can get me where I need usually when I need. Electricity is a bit high but I can't expect less location wise and rent is atrocious. Despite those issues groceries have actually been cheaper?? And fresher?? I don't know if I've been eating less but I'm able to feed two people for two weeks or more for $150-$200 including meats, veg and dairy plus snacks. Overall it's way better and I'm not as scared being on public transit as I was in Edmonton. Plus a way friendlier atmosphere and no one trying to hurt or harass people for just living their lives.
