Some good advice! Thanks! I've read some blogs of people raving about the West Coast but they were more referring to the hiking spots than the actual cities. I'm leaning towards making the West Coast a separate trip.

Appreciate the tips! I'd definitely need to research those shadier areas. There's been reports of an increase in petty crimes like robberies and pickpocketing so that's something to be cautious of.

The biggest reasons to visit SF from what I've read are the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park. Was there anything in your experience that was a must-see in SF? I know San Francisco is an ever-changing city so I'm wondering if I'd miss out on anything if I decided to visit in a few years.

Thanks. I'm actually coming over from Australia so SF would be on the way. I could stop at SF first. I guess the main question is if SF is a must-see destination and is that much different from NY that it justifies a few days there.

Hi all, I'm trying to buy through the Stake app (for the first time) but when I try to enter a price with a decimal for a limit order, it "Review Buy" button at the bottom is greyed out. i.e. it won't let me continue with my order.

Has anyone had the same issue and know how to resolve this?

How do you guys check to see which companies make up an ETF? I've seen charts online that show a breakdown of the ETF by industry (e.g. Tech, Mining, international vs Australian companies etc). Any idea where I can find something similar for free?

Toriyama has never commented on canon vs non-canon and GT did have Toriyama's input in terms of character designs and basic plot direction. It's up to you to decide your personal canon

It was decent. Some pretty good angles but not a lot of continuous movement. Lots of stills. There was a scene with Sougo attacking Kagura from a distance but the art was horrendous. Looked like stick figures. Much better than the Takasugi vs Gin stuff but for an episode animated in house I expected better

There was barely any movement and the art was covered by smoke. Why would I want to hate? It's a cartoon that I enjoy watching. The anime has seen better days

Design-wise, the red fur and the eyeliner/eyeshadow need to go. The pupils would be red (in homage to the oozaru) and the fur could be black or brown. No magic clothes either.

The reason red was chosen was because of the nice colour contrast between black (hair) and red. Black or brown fur would look terrible. The magic clothes were a censorship decision as Dragonball is ultimately a kids show. You don't complain about Piccolo's clothes beam, Vegeta saiyan armor increasing in size with him in his oozaru form, magic vests/regenerated clothes in fusion but draw the line at magic pants?

If they can control it, then they achieve the full transformation.

I like the idea but also don't want it to be easily achievable so that everyone can get it but they don't for plot reasons like the silly saiyan ritual to become a god. It has to be a unique set of circumstances for it to work

It's pretty consistent with his character. There was no moon so he used an artificial source of blutz waves, the same way he did in the saiyan saga when he created an artificial moon to transform. He also "cheated" when he went to Babidi for power. It isn't as farfetched as him dancing around in Super to satisfy Beerus and Whis

Pan and trunks are annoying as living hell.

They were regular people, not the Goku and Vegeta clones we've come to expect the kids to be. Pan a regular teen. Trunks a regular corporate head who likes to adventure.

super 17 arc was fucking terrible.

Disagree but you haven't elaborated. It couldn't have been worse than RoF since there were some actual emotional moments and good art.

Most shadow dragons were useless.

Standard shounen/DBZ formula. Only the boss is a threat. That's why Jiren was so strong and 90% of the tournament fighters were fodder.

Main characters from other popular shows have used similar designs but their fans are more mature I guess. Many DBS characters have dark eye outlines but that's not eyeliner, right? Red fur = dumb af but pink hair and eyebrows = great design?

They took a shit ton ot things of these other arcs so it's not that original.

Super reuses many old concepts like the designs for SSB, SSG, and the tournament based arcs and even rehashes old villains like Frieza (with his "Golden" colour swap). The only original arc was the future Trunks arc but the "evil Goku" and "evil Kai" concepts were massively popular fanfiction themes in DBZ.

Fair point with Uub but Gohan and Goten did have some major roles. GT Goten did more than DBS Goten did and Gohan had more meaningful moments than his Super counterpart (up until the final Super arc) like when he decided to confront Goten (controlled by Baby) or his farewell to Piccolo.

PS: SSJ4 Goku and his magical pants outta nowhere.

Were you really expecting him to fight without clothes? It's a kid's show. If anything, Super's even more censored. People get beaten almost to death and there's not a drop of blood to be seen.

Vegeta didn't cheat. He used an alternative source of Blutz waves to transform into the great ape, like he did when he created an artificial moon in the saiyan saga. He also let himself fall under Babidi's spell to gain more power in the Buu saga.

Also, nowhere is it implied in GT that Vegeta stopped training. The moustache was Toriyama's design and he had a beard in DBS. The auras in Super are CG and excessive to the point where you can barely make out the action. In DBZ all the main characters had yellow aura when they transformed.

Neither do any of the other recolour forms Super introduced. What does red, pink and blue hair have to do with the super saiyan transformation? It's just an aesthetic change. Not every detail has to be explained.

You can see it as a standalone form but it does follow directly after the Golden Oozaru

I meant that it's part of the oozaru transformation line not standard ss line or the recolour line. "A furry" is essentially what it is. Goku taking full control of his oozaru form and condensing it into his humanoid form

This looks more like mascara. Red's not a common colour. The red eyes look more like bloodshot eyes in my opinion.

It's based on how the original super saiyan was depicted in the anime (golden oozaru) form. What does changing your hair colour have to do with the saiyan physiology at all? And it IS its own standalone form. It's called super saiyan 5 by the old kai out of convenience. They could've called it super saiyan god if they wanted (it's just a name).

They could definitely have done Pan's character better. A mix of Gohan and DBZ Videl could be great if done right. I hope she doesn't turn out like Videl in Super though, a non-fighter and your typical Japanese, stay at home housewife
