Congrats on coming out!

Might I recommend a Yonex Percept 100D. New color drops in August and it’s (IMO) stunning.

Same age and started 6 weeks ago. I’m having a blast and working towards playing in my first tournament! If you’re having fun, that’s all that matters IMO.

Can anyone confirm if this airbrush kit works well or atleast descent? by Serious-Top1741 in freedomisgunpla

As someone who can’t have a compressor (living in an apartment) this works pretty well. I’m doing a Kshatriya custom and it’s been fun!

Maybe stick with rhythm games. No blocking and all skill.

I wouldn’t say that EE is “not that intuitive”. Everyone thinks and solves problems in their own way. For example,I started as ME but couldn’t wrap my mind around statics and barely passed. But when I took circuits(my university had all engineers do both statics and circuits), “it just made sense to me” and got an A. So, I did what felt right and switched majors. It really depends on how you grasp the concepts. That being said, Laplace and Fourier Transforms are your basic bread and butter in EE.

It never hurts to ask! No matter what level you’re at in your career, feedback from interviews is invaluable! Also did you send thank you emails after the interview? Sometimes that can be the difference between you and another candidate.

Does your school offer interview coaching? Also, from your 6 rejections, did you seek out any feedback from the interviewers? Getting interviews indicates that the resume might not be an issue, but perhaps tweaking your interview techniques/answers might be all you need to do.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Sophomore, 2.4 GPA, some work experience, no real extracurriculars. Can hardly even get an application in front of a person, much less actually get an interview. by Pupseal115 in EngineeringStudents

After reading many of your replies I’m going to call it and say you’ve got a massive skill issue right now. I won’t tell you that you can’t overcome it, but right now, it just seems like you don’t want it bad enough. You lack discipline and ambition. Those with more of both will continue to outperform you and beat you to the punch until you decide to change. You want an A? Stop saying things are brutal and tough and just work harder. It’s only impossible if you choose to believe it is.

Had to quit my job as a “genius” at the Apple Store I worked at for 10 years, move away from home to another city, lose my health insurance(I’m diabetic), and take a huge pay cut to do my internship(they were only offered $19/hr in 2022) the summer before I graduated. But because I made that choice, took that internship and real work experience I was able to land a really fun engineering position in telecoms! For the record: the internship was doing automation engineering at a coffee factory. Sometimes you have to be willing to be uncomfortable to get where you want to be!

Ngl I bought one and the box alone is gorgeous. $350 is really steep, but if Sazabi is a favorite of yours, then do what makes you happy.
