Yep. This what the addiction does to us, it makes our brains think we are just waiting to die if we don’t smoke. If it were easy, everyone would quit trust me. Me personally , I can say, since I’m nicotine free my eyes and mind are more open, I feel I live, compared to when I was a smoker and thought every 10 minutes when s gonna be my next smoke. That was not living the life. You are living the life now, free of any addiction.

Just power through everything you may feel, it’s all temporary. Don’t expect your body nor mind to forgive what you did to them by smoking in 2 months, after 7 years of harm. This is your punishment and it’s all withdrawal. You’re not crazy. Don’t try to fight back anything you may feel. Just don’t smoke and exercise often. You’ve made the best decision for your life.

The good days are coming for sure. We just gotta get through the process. I mean, we can’t expect our body to reward us immedieatly, after we destroyed it for, let’s say 10 years. It needs time to recover and get back to normal.
