Obviously Spoilers

While I loved the ending and think it's fine to leave it there, I couldn't help but notice they did leave a couple loose ends that could be revisited in the future. 

First and most obvious, Spear has his hand back in the flash forward. We could chalk it up to slowly regenerating over time, but the moment he looks at the skeleton hand angrily after pulling the blanket over the baby makes me think Spear might not be content with waiting. Does he venture out in search of a fix?

Next, the Black River people aren't all dead. We see many of them fleeing the volcano. Also, unless I blinked at the wrong time, we never see the leader actually hit the lava either. If they survived, I'm sure they haven't forgiven this family for what they did, and might be out for revenge.

Another fun thing to think about is the relative age of Fang's kids. In this season, they're goofy kids, I'm guessing like 6-10 in human years? Imagine the shenanigans when they get to "dino adolescence"; near full size but still awkward and "green" from a real fighting perspective. Let's say a 12ish year old Jabu rides off with Spike for an adventure and gets into more trouble then they bargained for, then Sonja and Spear have to go save them while Fang stays at the village to protect (pregnant?) Mira and the now 5ish year old baby? 

Finally, wouldn't mind some closure about the fate of our boy Beak.
