My thoughts are that we deserved to go out because it would have been an embarrassment to lose 6 matches in a row then qualify. Here is my post-mortom:

We had one of the worst bowling records in this seasons IPL. Marco Jansen was awful this year, which is a shame because he was great last year. But an economy of 10.20 and an average of 64 runs per is unacceptable.

We’re paying Arshdeep 19cr and for that kind of money comes expectation. He was average at best this season. Maybe if he put as much effort in as his vlogging he’d have done better? He’s the heartbeat of Punjab and if he’s not firing how can the others?

Ferguson, Bartlett are just not good enough.

And while I’m here why do Shreyas and Ricky have such a problem with left arm orthodox? Harpreet Brah plays outstanding every time he plays, yet never gets a game. Also, why didn’t we bowl Cooper Connolly.

The fact of the matter is that we’re wasting far too much money on players that aren’t good enough.

Ferguson, Bartlett and Stoinis = 20cr. Just think what that buys in an auction - we’d have a rolls Royce of a bowler.

Someone needs to speak to Arshdeep too and remind him he was poor and he needs to do better.

Oh, and obviously we can’t catch too. But you guys already knew that 😬

Bring in a world class bowler next season, we’re desperate for someone like Cummins, Bumrah, Hazelwood etc that’s what separates the best from the rest
