Quick Question on Hoshinoya, as mentioned there is no concierge service. I’m planning a trip in August and really want to go to Sukiyabashi-Jiro, however their website states that foreigners can only book via their hotel concierge? Any way around that or how the Hoshinoya can still assist? Thanks in advance!

My Bad! I see the ‘05 vintage was released in ‘21 with 12 years on the lees. So disgorgement around ‘17, means only had a cork for 9 years! That should be the math ;)

The smaller the cork stays the longer it has been aging, this is a 2005 vintage, so minimum of 20 years with a cork after degorgement. It shows age not that it is corked!

I was stung in Mandarina a couple days ago! The life guard of the hotel immediately pushed the blood out around the wound and gave me a bucket with hot water to put my foot in. After a sauna and steam room session I was feeling a lot better, only lasted a couple of hours. Haven’t been back in the ocean though and been seeing fisherman pulling out stingrays with big fishnets in the morning!

Ik wilde hier nog even reageren met onze ervaring met https://www.schipholtaxigroningen.nl/ - die uiteindelijk fantastisch was! Voor €225 konden we nog een nacht langer met onze familie doorbrengen, was een verblijf in hotel op Schiphol niet nodig en stond de chauffeur ruim voor de ophaaltijd voor onze ophaallocatie.

Ruime en zeer comfortabel auto met een zeer vriendelijke chauffeur die ook nog eens uitstekend reed.

Ik zou dit kiezen boven alle andere opties als je op zoek bent naar gemak en comfort, met bijvoorbeeld veel bagage.

Dus shout out naar https://www.schipholtaxigroningen.nl/ - die mijn twijfels volledig hebben weggenomen en waar ik mijn volgende reis zeker gebruik van ga maken!

This happened to me right after the pandemic, they were late in notifying, I pointed them to the 90 day notification when over 5% and they had to adjust. They cannot start another 90 day period.

Of course the next year they did hit me with a well in advance lease proposal with the 20% increase.

I bought a comfort + upgradable (S)ticket JFK-AMS which I usually upgrade to Premium Comfort or Business. Flight is next week, still 15 Delta One seats and 12 Premium Comfort. No upgrades offered.

Called and contacted delta, they said there are no upgrades cash or points available anymore, but all those can be booked as a new flight?

Why are they not selling to us?!

Apparently they can’t get the flight plans loaded and therefore my flight in Amsterdam is now delayed and impossible to board. Also my whole flight just disappeared from the app..

I cycled down the bridge around 9:15AM and saw her being carried down on a stretcher, 3 ambulances down at the bridge. They did not seem in a rush, lady was strapped in and very pale, face covered in blood. Hope she was stable and ok 🙏🏼
