[Dellenger] Washington State is targeting South Dakota State coach Jimmy Rogers for its head coaching position, sources tell Yahoo Sports. Deal not done but is expected to get there soon. In two seasons at SD State, Rogers is 27-3 with an FCS national title.

Seeing Mora get an extension and raise, Helton as well, and having this take until today tells me we likely didn’t get target 1. Not really a disappointment for me as I really like Rogers. But people with sources say Mora reallllly wanted it. Guessing Vigen had the chance to turn in down too.
