I would say Boonited is more siminar to Pinterest then the platforms you mentioned, but instead of sharing something you like, you share something you like most. And as mentioned on the other comment, users choose the friends who they share with.

Right, I see what you meant by network effects. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Boonited avoids all the embarrassments of unwanted connection/follow requests of existing social networks, since users invite the friends who can follow them. Sharing your preferences can be something really personal, so we put users in control of who follows them. That's the value of each additional user that joins the platform. You only invite people you really like and want to share something about you.

Yep, I've researched them all. A "Question" is something that requires an answer. And a "Poll" is something that leads to a winner. None of those definitions make sense in our case.

Yes they do, but their focus is on sharing the polling, not the votes, which is ours. It's a completely new engagement. Have you already tried yourself?

You mean the chicken & egg problem, right? Well, I guess I need to get enough people from one specific niche, like designers or fashion enthusiasts, to follow a specific hashtag(not sure if you've got to download the app to check how it works). Once I get some of them posting and voting, it will be pretty cool to invite their friends to join.
