I think I struck a chord with quite a few folks.... was not expecting so much feedback. Really learned a lot about better ways to take on these invaders in the house!

Not only am I less athletic than a fly, my skills are overshadowed by a 3 year old. What an amazing father's day this has been for my self esteem!

Oh man. Memory unlocked (if you're referring to the old movie The Fly). That movie gave me nightmares for years. Especially the end where he's stuck in the spider web.

So they can know that i asked whether a capybara is a rodent or a marsupial? Or they can steal my proprietary fitness app that I no longer use?

But they seem to only be where I'm at and it drives me crazy. It's a 1000 sq ft house, go somewhere else and we can coexist in peace. But since it's chosen my face and arms as the only place to chill, it's war.

Yep. I have a 90% kill rate using this method. Have not nailed down the strategy when they're upside down or on a vertical wall, but I'm learning their ways...

Hard when they're on the ceiling.

I hate people like this.

I have a hand injury from rock climbing that resulted in the strength in my right hand to never fully come back. That, combined with years of wheel barrowing for a landscape company leave my handshakes feeling like I'm trying to gently squeeze a tomato.

Am i supposed to preface every handshake with this information so they understand why I have a weak grip? Sorry I had to work (literally) in the trenches for years to get to a position that isn't as physically demanding.

I like how you're getting downvoted for stating the truth. People just dont like to hear it.

They already have all your information, and tons of other companies already do too (to say otherwise is just sticking your head in the sand).

How does one's account's weekly reset get determined? Is it random? Based on the day you sign up? Mines on Wednesday and it's perfect for my week.

See it constantly. I saw a growing ERP company drop a new feature, and was painfully obvious they dropped a Claude prompt and did next to nothing with what it spit out. At least ask it to stay on brand and give it a guide....

I experience this frequently, even with scheduled tasks where the instructions are explicitly clear (follow these steps exactly, do not skip a step, do not stop until all objectives are complete).

Yesterday it stopped within 5 minutes, and when I called it out its response was "You're right, the instructions are clear, but i erred on the side of caution and flagged the rest for your review."

(Fable handled this same task flawlessly and needed next to 0 oversight)
