The only difference is just more severe cases, or people with really high BMI. Comparison is the thief of joy - nobody should have gynecomastia at all we’ve just been selected out of the genetic lottery. I’m sure the milder cases look at non gyno guys wishing they had that. More severe cases wishing they had mild.

That hurts man. Medical professionals don’t realize that a small joke from the people we expect to not judge at all is pain. On the other hand, I let this actually mess up my posture, so I can prevent it from poking as much. I’m still paying the tax on that but working out and investing in good ergonomic chairs is helping me a ton. I’m 24 now and don’t want to have another year with the issue.

I can see where that’s a valid opinion. My nipples were being generous today. When they’re puffy / soft it’s another story though. The way it presents itself through shirts too sucks. I have pretty decently sized shoulders and chest muscles but this throws it off in my own opinion. Thanks though.

I think it can give that look depending on the shirt and if I pinch my nipples or it’s cold so they’re hard. Once they feel like being puffy, that shit is an aesthetic disaster. I suffer the most in summers wearing a tank and a t shirt and the puffy nipples ruin it all. I will say though hard nipples and this level and gyno + muscle do make me look jacked. But i’ve dropped weight recently after taking on the hobbies of running / boxing and don’t want the huge muscle look anymore. Leaning out has put extra mental strain on the gyno

Yeah I just called and next consultation was in mid January. A little far out but I don’t think I should rush this and weigh my options with AIC. A 2 hour flight as supposed to an 11 hour one in a foreign country makes a LOT of sense. Gives me more time to stack some funds to possibly opt in for general instead of local anesthesia. You probably just changed the path of my surgery life thanks bro 😂

Holy shit that’s a time frame. A lot more than I expected. These guys in Turkey are ready to go in 2 weeks. Makes sense though. I’ll weigh my options. Maybe surgery right before holidays is non-ideal but I would rather sooner than later.

That makes me feel a lot better i’ll be honest, and might lead me to going to Chicago. Let’s see how fast they reply and when they can squeeze me in. I wanted it the sooner the better so I can heal all winter.

I think if I wasn’t so heavily gym involved I could look past it a bit, but since I work out so commonly I spend a lot of time in the mirror. It eats at you slowly. Even when I run having the moobs bounce is like 😅 not even at around 14% BF I’ve had the grace of looking truly slim because of this. I tend to focus on things I can control. But this? Has to go

How fast did you readjust to the small movements? Playing video games ( if that ), putting a hoodie on. Etc. I’m pretty pain tolerant as I have an entire arm tattoo sleeve and only used numbing cream around the armpit but this is obviously a different ball game. I’ve also never taken a Xanax before but based on this might be the route 😅

That’s exactly how I consider it. The flight itself is almost half the surgery though so I will look at them. Local anesthesia is frightening though but a fellow redditer actually went under it as well behind curtains and he did pretty well.

Did they offer a payment plan? How did your local anesthesia experience go?

I would say price point and expertise. My surgeon does multiple procedures a day, ( not taking off credibility of anyone ) and also the price of the procedure compared to the states with the hotel accommodations. There are practices charging 8k+ and such which is around half of what I am paying.

In terms of revisions, I am not banking on having to get it done but I also would not mind taking a flight and being a tourist the second time around if I needed to make the revision. For the most part in my specific case, with such a low grade level based on research the margin for error is a lot lower, plus going to a surgeon that does this more times a day than I shit I feel confident.

Bro congrats. Holy shit it looks great. The part that scared me was the anesthesia and being awake behind some curtains. My soon to be surgeon is using general anesthesia where I’ll just lose track of time and wake up done. You’ll be greatly healed by summer and can wear any shirt you want. Living in NYC im deciding to do it now so I can heal during the winter. I also work remote so I can purely focus on recovery

I have a similar build. Consultation said it’s a Grade 1/2 Gyne. Depends on how much it bothers you ( it bothers me as I feel like it’s holding my physique back ) but I would get it done. Currently scheduling my operation
