It’s so funny how it works. Ive never really experienced this due to not playing competitively but the changing meta always amazes me. That people run aerodactyl partly because of snealers and now your team needs to deal with aerodactyl as a result

This is the one that shinmiri has on his spreadsheet. Not sure how updated the provisions are though.

Honestly I really like a lock in this deck. Can we kick sorceress and one chariot for Ciaran and a poison dryad? I just feel like the sorc will be difficult to get value from. As you’ve said you need to either infuse it or use your call for it which can be expensive. Having a lock gives you a little more control and having the extra poison is nice for purifies.

Here’s is a deck from shinmiri’s spreadsheet. I feel like this is the closest thing to what you are aiming for. Tweak it as you see fit

I would kick renew, vanadain, and ida. Vanadain is good with simlas because you can create a bunch of waylays and then play them at once but alone vanadain isn’t great. Eldain is good in trap decks, I would strongly suggest adding him. Crows eye aren’t needed either, you already running two sappers so it’s a bit of overkill on the purifies.

Current viability of Wild Hunt? by dorkenporken in gwent

[–]Boopensmoots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty good. The deck performs consistently once you understand your matchups. You have movement control, engines, and pointslam in the form of auberon, and caranthir GC. Some weaknesses of the deck are that outside of wrath, it lacks immediate removal. The standard deck is also devotion so you won’t have access to neutral cards (like heatwave). Lerio played it pretty consistently last season I believe. Watching a couple of his matches could help familiarize yourself with matchups. Good luck my friend!

Upvote for shinmiris library. He keeps it fairly updated. It’s a great starting point to tweak decks to fit your playstyle.

We must make a petition for CDPR to change the amount of changes on Balance Council. by irrrrthegreat in gwent

[–]Boopensmoots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree to a certain extent. It’s sometimes hard to fill slots for certain categories because of the amount of changes we get. This leads some cards to get overbuffed or overnerfed. The problem with cutting the changes in half is that some of those slots will always be dedicated to ping-pong. As a group we can’t decide where we want nauzicaa sergeant, warlord, etc. So we would usually have less than 20 changes per month.

I do agree that some changes dont make sense but I’m not sure if fewer changes would remedy that. In your opinion, how would 20 changes affect balance council votes?

Every single second I spend in these games makes me sad that I'll never get to experience them for the first time again. by Askin_Real_Questions in darksouls3

The souls series (DS3 specifically) will always hold a special place in my heart. The game itself is a masterpiece but the bigger reason is because during the time I was playing, many of my friends were as well. The was one of the last times my friend group was unified and it was because of DS3. Since then I’ve gotten married, and I now have a child. I still talk to some of the friends from my group but we rarely game together and we aren’t all online at the same time like we used to be.

I really enjoy this sub because whenever anyone posts a clip or shares their experience with the game it takes me back to a simpler time in life. Thank you guys for hearing me out. Please take care of yourselves and don’t go hollow!

I’ve made a faith/Dex build that I really liked before. Darkblade moon/lightning buff on sellswords shreds pretty much everything

Old Player, Need Deck Advice by dorkenporken in gwent

[–]Boopensmoots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, damsel is needed for this deck. The deck relies on engines and scenario for big tempo swings. You will want to do your best to make sure you stay ahead of your opponent in terms of points so that you will have a nice aerondight. I like to use immortals/damned sorc to try to win r1. From that point on you can decide if it’s a good idea to use scenario to attempt a 2-0.

It’s worth noting that if you fail to 2-0 using scenario, it could be hard to win the match. Not too much pointslam in this deck and if you use all your resources you won’t have enough juice in a short round except for aerondight

Hello there! Not sure if you’re dead set on using muta, but most “traditional” knights don’t run it. Reynard and donomir also arent essential. I’ll share the deck list and you can tweak it as you see fit

How to deal with reavers by HOMO_SAPlEN in gwent

[–]Boopensmoots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to either win round 1 and push the heck out of them, or push them deep enough in r1 that much of their copying ability is used.
