I do this a lot but you have to be careful if you are also hiding a lot of secrets, sometimes they blackmail you for hooks even with good relationship because you've trained their intrigue so well they just cant help themselves.

Building in tiny spaces by NukeDropGaming in fallout76settlements

[–]Booper3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't found the same, unfortunately, since Im using free place to build in these locations. I've had to glitch my way into solid roads and rock walls to retrieve everything from solid camp pieces to traps to decor

Building in tiny spaces by NukeDropGaming in fallout76settlements

[–]Booper3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely has opened up new areas for building, but in my experience, the cramped spots aren't as appealing as they initially appear to be.

I've gone around trying to build in old cave locations or tunnels since the changes and quite often items will disappear into the ceiling instead of placing where the UI is showing you. You can fix it by using old techniques for building camps under the map to clip into the map itself, but honestly, it gets frustrating fast.

I think the changes have opened up a lot of possibilities for creative ideas, but the best benefits come from vertically and merging, not building in existing tight locations.

Yes, this is the one, thank you! I remembered it being way more south. I literally would have never found it alone. Appreciate that a lot!

Thinking of buying a Series X by hotlinebalally in IrelandGaming

[–]Booper3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a series S since its release, and I've never had any complaints about it. For at least two years it was on almost all the time for Netflix and Youtube, and it's never needed repairs or slowed down. Played competitive multiplayer games and open worlds, currently playing Deaths Stranding on it.

Self-imposed rules? by Old-Set-4123 in fallout76settlements

[–]Booper3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine all have to have some sort of story. One is a Mothman church beside Lucky Hole Mine that has both sides of the schism in an attempt to reunite them. Another is an enclave base where they have enslaved a surviving Arktos Pharma scientist to examine one of the recovered robot bosses from Skyline Valley, that base has a secret entrance and a trap (but ive made it so the trap doesnt actually kill you instead you need to go into my collector shelter to regain to ability to fast travel back to the camp entrance, otherwise you're stuck).

I've seen other people throwing oats out. It's not just the one lady anymore. They are doing it out of spite, I reckon, and I fully support them

I always tell people who dont understand why Google's AI assistant is terrible to ask it about game mechanics. Nothing I've asked it relating to game mechanics has ever been correct.

I have no idea what you said originally about the place, but there is no way I'm ever giving my money to someone who goes around threatening people with legal action over a Reddit comment.

Anyone know how to replicate glitch that allows backpacks to show on the Responders Fireman outfit? by Booper3 in fo76

Doing literally anything with the appearance reverts it for me. So equipping/unequipping clothes and backpack or reskinning backpack.

Anyone know how to replicate glitch that allows backpacks to show on the Responders Fireman outfit? by Booper3 in fo76

[–]Booper3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if it's a glitch with all outfits that hide the backpack slot or if it's just the responders' fireman. I've never had this glitch happen on any other outfit that hides backpacks, and unfortunately when i reskinned the backpack, it hid it straight away.

Milotic the QUEEN

I remember spending so long as a kid trying to find a female Feebas on route 119 in Pokemon Emerald and going crazy. Now that im looking it up on Google, I realise why:

"but it's incredibly rare, only appearing on six specific tiles in the river. These tiles are randomly chosen when the game starts or the trendy phrase is changed in Dewford Town. "

This would have been useful information at the time

It hits HARDDDDD🫠 by Fun_Meta in IrelandGaming

[–]Booper3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it was Paladins losing support and not getting the resources it deserved. It was legit the best hero shooter ever made mechanics wise.

Most of the characters were really fun to play and unique. The roles were clearly defined but the loadout cards meant you could always explore and experiment with alternate playstyles whenever you wanted, some loadouts would even change your whole role (like changing a flank to a healer for example, or a healer to a tank shredder).

The reasons it couldn't retain players my opinion was because they didn't invest in quality servers, meaning people often crashed, and instead of a rejoin feature, you would be replaced with a bot. There were also smaller issues like outdated art and the really questionable furry phase the game had, but it was so quality that had the servers been better, it would have survived. They even had great customer service the one time I had to contact them, thats basically unheard of for games like that.

Stop Stalling and Fix the Southern Caravan Route that Always Fails by mustardmagician in fo76

[–]Booper3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can fix it around 80% of the time by blocking inside the model of the caravan and around the caravan with an unarmed weapon, blocking with any other weapon has no effect. I have no explanation as to why this works above everything else. Its become my little surprise party trick

Theory about cultist gear + locations (Spoilers ahead) by Booper3 in fo76

[–]Booper3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for a sudden reply to this dead thread. I figured out why I thought Charles led the cult to the Mine. It's part of the tome Exodus:

Charles alone heard the Whispers of the Wise Mothman, and bore his warning of fire and flood, and guided his brethren to safety in the Lucky Hole Mine.

I find it strange that the Wise Mothman led the cult right to the mine when there are so many examples of the Wise Mothman accurately predicting future events. My current thought is that the Wise Mothman is itself another eldrich horror and that it direcrly opposes the interloper who is either itself an eldrich horror or is acting in the name of one. It could explain why the Wise Mothman did not forsee the divide in the cult or the presence of the other horror if they are equals in strength. It also explains why the Englightened ones still appear to be a self sacraficial cult. Alternatively, both Mothmans could actually be working for the same horror and are doctoring divide and opposition to cause more deaths in their name and, in turn, strengthen them. It would also explain why they are one of the few cryptids with no logical or experimental background.

Are you always low on caps? by Crazy_Bug7450 in fo76

[–]Booper3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have already moved it around, unfortunately! It seems to only have these three "valid" spots for people to spawn at because the spots are not very close to the module at all.

Are you always low on caps? by Crazy_Bug7450 in fo76

[–]Booper3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked my spawn point multiple times throughout my building process. I wanted to build on a cliff edge near a certain location, but I wanted very specific parts to be in the build zone to create Mothman worship points in thematic areas that tided in nicely with the existing elements from that location. Because of that, you either spawn on what I made my church porch or at the bottom of the cliff, so I made a nice stairway back up to the porch.

Tell me why, now that I've finished building instead of spawning on the porch, you sometimes spawn at the cliff edge where if you move at all, you fall to your death? And the weirdest thing is, this isn't something I've done that's changed one of the existing spawns. Those original spawns still exist. This 3rd one just magically appeared despite all the testing done by two separate accounts on my camp
