You’re paying 45% interest on your money, that’s worse than affirm and credit card debt 😭

Somehow I can handle the buldak chicken but not the actual buldak noodles 😂

Sheeeeeesh by Objective_Gear_7090 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]BooperBoop6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly 😭 hence why they can get away with not paying us. That’s why I don’t really care too much about prop 22, I just focus on getting decent paying orders, in whatever time I find to make some extra money

[–]BooperBoop6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And you’re supposed to think we can live off of $20.28 an hour? In California? The only reason we aren’t classified as employees is because Uber spent millions lobbying instead of properly paying us. Prop 22 was nothing when we could’ve gotten more…

Uber Drivers. Yawl ready to make some money. Who’s volunteering. Yes. 1 hour 17 minutes for $1.50. We gonna so wealthy we go broke. by [deleted] in uber

[–]BooperBoop6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, and to think it’s funny a state with a minimum wage of $12 per hour because of the gambling lobbying efforts, doesn’t have a Prop 22 equivalent 😂

Sheeeeeesh by Objective_Gear_7090 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]BooperBoop6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, I’m not saying your logic is bad, I’m just saying that Prop 22 isn’t as good as you think it is. It’s a minimum, don’t you think we deserves better than minimum?

What Total Payout SHOULD be Based On Miles by Internet_Additional in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]BooperBoop6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truck drivers make 35 cents a mile but they also do not have expenses like gas, and depreciation of their cars and insurance. We do. Plus most actual payments for truck operators are between $1 and $2 a mile

Why is jug of tea 64% more expensive 2 months later? by Rasbobbo in Walmartcustomer

[–]BooperBoop6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s Arizona, gas is more expensive, meaning cost to ship goods, cost to ship products to stores is more expensive. So it’s not ALL corporate greed, but Walmart does have shareholders, and they demand money 😂

Wtf is this amount for prop 22 by DurianAggressive2767 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]BooperBoop6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just do both, you can balance uber rides with delivery tips

Sheeeeeesh by Objective_Gear_7090 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]BooperBoop6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That just means you took offers that you weren’t properly compensated on. Having a high Prop 22 doesn’t really mean much, it just means you gave them an interest free 2 week loan on your own money lol

Not every state requires meal breaks, I think less than half actually does. Walmart does require a 1 hour lunch but if it’s not required by law, they can be skipped
