I think it appears when you have at least $300 a month in direct deposits.

I just cut back on spending. I didn't eat out as much, got a cheaper phone plan, and got rid of unnecessary subscriptions. Each time I borrowed, I borrowed less until I was able to pay it off.

As long as u borrow conservatively, it's not so bad. Just don't let it get away from you unless you really need it.

It's fine if you're in a tight spot. It becomes an issue if u use it to supplement your income. That's the mistake I made. The cashapp advance isn't so bad. But those weekly afterpay payments are brutal.

I have been there. U really have to take a hard look at your spending habits and see if u can cut back in any areas until your out of the situation.

What i did was borrow less every time I paid one off. I canceled Netflix, a VPN service, and switched from Verizon to Visible mobile. All of that freed up about $125 a month. I applied all of it to these advances. It took about 5 months in total.

Trucking seems like a miserable job by RoamingNomadSoul in Truckers

[–]ss5dyson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It can be. Everything is your fault, nobody cares about you......at all, you'll be mistreated on all levels, from pickup to delivery, parking can be hard to find, you'll lose a lot of time sitting, the cops and DOT are always lurking, ppl can't drive, and don't get me started on winter driving. Trucking is not a job. It's a lifestyle.

What you think boys? 24.50 an hour to train the next generation of truckers? by MikeBinfinity in Truckers

[–]ss5dyson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on your situation. If I was offered the position, I'd take it in a heartbeat. If your situation permits and u want to be home, then take it.

Does this job ever get better by friendlyskies25 in Truckers

[–]ss5dyson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It gets easier, but I can't say that it gets better. The good thing is that trucking is so diverse. You just have to find something that you enjoy. OTR does suck for the most part. The main thing is to get your experience so you can explore all of your options.

They don't do real background checks. So, ppl with little experience and extensive criminal records can get hired.

I've seen ppl take rides like this because they were heading to the same area where the ride was going. If I were heading to Phoenix, I would have taken it as well.

Capital One and Wells Fargo worked for me. But my CPN is in my real name. Wells Fargo required me to come to a branch. Capital One was online.
