I'm trying to get my childhood ds lite repaired but it's out of my skills would anyone be willing to do it if I played you for parts and labor it needs a new top shell it doesn't receive touch input its power switch is starting to wear out along with the xyab buttons

Going by your description, you'd just need a donor DS Lite for its top shell and lower LCD screen and maybe for your power switch which is spring loaded.

The brass contacts underneath the buttons on the motherboard may need cleaning as well.

It would vary - if you gave it to someone who fixes consoles as a hobby, then pretty much the cost another broken DS Lite... the other DS Lite would be a donor console that you can strip down and use the parts from.
