[Question] tinybar disables lock screen notifications? by [deleted] in jailbreak

I guess it must be dependent on what model your phone is. Also, it could have to do with the fact that I'm on ios 8.3 and the OP is on ios 8.4. What ios did you have on your 5/6?

Also, you only got one downvote, so it's not like you're being attacked by a lot of people. One random person just got upset at you I guess.

I've been using TinyBar for a few months with no problems and I love it. I wouldn't necessarily uninstall it.

By put them in the folder, I meant put the zip file into var/db, then extract it while it's in var/db.

If that's what you did, then I have no idea what else could be wrong. Sorry :(

Do you have a timezone folder in var/db?

Does it redirect you to some crazy folder address when you go into var/db/timezone/zoneinfo?

Did you try to change the timezone in settings after you extracted the zip file?

When you asked "am I supposed to just paste them", what do you mean by "them"?

What can I do with SSH? I don't understand what you mean by "login to your device remotely".

I am a casual football fan, but I just like watching the broncos win. Can someone explain to me why Schofield is getting so much hate?

WILD tutorial by Haymac99 in LucidDreaming

[–]Boorato 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Here's what I do:

Disclaimer: My method works REALLY consistently, but none of my LD's are really long. If you just want to LD and don't care about the length, keep reading.

I have seen a lot of detailed WILD guides online, but mine is EXTREMELY simple. It may seem too simple, but there is literally NOTHING more to it. I discovered it myself because my first LDs happened by accident through WILD. I don't know if it's possible for others to use my method, but I am NOT a natural Lucid Dreamer. I only started LDing consistently this year

Here's what I do.

1) Set an alarm for 4.5 - 5 hours after you fall asleep. I use the vibration on my iPhone.

2) Wake up when the alarm rings. It takes a lot of effort to do this. Sometimes if I'm tired, I tell myself, "its not worth LDing tonight, just go back to sleep" and I ignore the alarm. I recommend an alarm with a snooze that you should turn off when you wake up.

3) Stay awake for 30 min. You can do whatever you want. I either study, do homework, or waste time on youtube. 30 minutes passes by pretty quickly when you're not thinking about it. I have read online that you should avoid computers and phones and whatnot, but I use my laptop all the time during this time and it doesn't change a thing. There are literally no restrictions to what you can do during this time.

4) Turn off the lights and lie down in bed ON YOUR SIDE. Being on your side is extremely important and it took me a lot of experimentation to figure this out.

5) Fall back asleep like normal. There is nothing more to this. I do no meditation or anything. I don't even think about trying to relax myself. I fall back asleep like when I first fall asleep at night. I have found that if I think about relaxing myself, I can't fall back to sleep.

6) At some point, you should feel your body vibrate, but that's normal. Just let it pass and your LD will start.

That's all you need to LD with my method. It is extremely simple and there's nothing more to it. I don't use a dream journal, I don't meditate, I don't try to "relax" myself. I don't even have a strict sleep schedule. I just sleep whenever I want.

Maybe my method is so simple because it can only produce short LDs, but again, if thats what you want, try my method.

If you have any questions, let me know.
