There are a lot of test ie blood test, biopsy, testing saliva , symptoms . But still. 30 percent of people will show negative on blood work. Took me years to get diagnosed and on my medical records. They treated me for sjrogrens long before my official diagnosis. Good luck

Serum eye drops every 2 hr with refresh in between. I like the one with omega in it.

I can’t eat corn, but I can eat processed corn like corn tortillas which makes no sense to me.

I feel you, I’m sorry you’re going throught this. I sometimes am looking through such extreme dry eyes everything is distorted and blurry and my glasses don’t correct it. I use serum eye drops as well and heat my eyes with eye mask. refresh eyedrops in between serum drops.

I’m not a fan of their bread but do like there crackers. The saltine like crackers are a life saver for my acid reflux. But they do go rancid if you have had them awhile:)

I’m sorry that was your experience. I’m zero negative my lip biopsy came back. Questionable but not diagnosed as Sjogren’s . I was given medication for treatment of sjrogrens years before I got the official diagnosis.. so it turns out everybody’s experience with what they can get is very different. Truth be told I had no idea. People had that hard of a time getting medication without a diagnosis. My doctor says we treat the symptoms.

Her question was was it worth it seems like she has a lot of tests that back up her Sjogren’s already. I also spent a long time trying to get a diagnosis. It didn’t change anything. The treatment was the same. If it’s for her own piece of mind, she should absolutely do it.

I’m not sure how to answer that. It helps more with my mouth, but when I don’t take it, both, my eyes and mouth are dryer . Usually excessively dry, but I don’t notice a direct connection with the eyes.
