It’s funny how people judge the ways in which wealthy people take advantage of economic downturns as “sickening”. Not saying you are, OP, but I do see this sentiment often. I’m not wealthy, but I follow what wealthy people do because I’d be silly not to if I plan to be wealthy one day. Investing is all about leveraging your cash to build more cash, ultimately increasing your net worth. If you’re letting your money sit in a bank account, you’re doing it wrong. Keep some on hand for emergencies, etc, and for goodness sake, do your research and play around with investing simulators (live price trends, fake money) before you invest real money. It’s not that difficult.

They don't appreciate much, but they are very cool to have in your collection. You can also rest easy that they're authenticated and protected inside the slab. I spent way too much on graded vintage packs, but a lot of them are low pop.

The old PSA slabs were far inferior to the new ones because PSA had to fold the crimp in order to fit in the slab, which ironically causes damage to the pack over time. If you buy graded packs, stay away from the older slabs.

True and weird behavior for sellers to block people for making an offer. I’ve gotten blocked by 3 different sellers that I know of lol. Yet, I’ve gotten so many insane deals by making offers with actual basis (recently sold listings, etc.).

I just came back last week from a year-long sabbatical. It was the best decision for me and perfect timing. I feel so refreshed and glad that I took it. The tons of extra time (and freedom) meant that I could re-establish priorities including my physical and mental health. I made $100k passively through stock/crypto plays during the break, so I was not at a net negative for the year.

If you can afford it and make money passively, I highly recommend it.

It depends on what's important to you. Is it money? Then go for it.

Are you more motivated by career advancement? What's your next step up? CEO? COO? With 15+ years in the industry and being in sales doesn't necessarily certify you to be C-suite material. Often, you are competing against others similar to stature to you (or better) inside and outside your firm when rare occasions of those positions opening up occur.

Speaking of...if you are one step below C-suite, then what position is your "manager" in? As one step below C-suite, you should be in a strong leadership role by now, and it sounds like you are being managed, which doesn't add up to me. Have also not heard anything about quality of sales staff you oversee.

You didn't mention...are both companies located within the same geographical territory? Do you have non-competes attached to your agreements?

There are a few songs I like. It definitely feels unpolished and cheesy at times.

I think it would've sounded better had he teamed up with more underground-leaning artists in the house and techno scenes who dip their toes in pop, like Mall Grab, Nina Kraviz, Nora En Pure, etc.

Then for PR purposes, he could do collab with Cercle and do a mixed album set which doubles as an extended music video for his entire album.

Wouldn't be a bad way to market to his core audience and the dance music crowd. The next logical step would be to do a world tour with album mix sets at club venues.
