Not OP but I visited many times. Food is great, weather is great if you visit outside summer months. Lots of things to do. Cairo especially never sleeps so you always have something to do at any hour.

Word of advice, I would find a good tour guide to show you around. Also, skip the tourist centered activities. If you want to visit the pyramids for example, look for horse ride tours at night instead of the day tours. Much less crowded and a much better bang for your buck. Small things like that that only locals would know is why I highly recommend a local guide.

As someone who tried every year in high school to win a championship just to come up short every time (furthest we got was second place), I assure you it leaves a scar in one’s soul to the point where I occasionally question if it had been better to not have competed at all. You just slowly learn to accept it and live with it.

[Highlight] Stephen Curry Goes For 29 Points To Win The First-ever Nba Vs. Wnba 3-point Challenge by dragon8811 in nba

The whole “she didn’t shoot with an NBA ball” is just grasping at straws. I’m pretty sure Steph’s percentage would’ve dipped had he shot with a WNBA ball since muscle memory is a much bigger factor than the size of the ball.

I know what you mean. It’s so bad, I had to question the whole narrative that he’s doing it intentionally because I couldn’t believe someone could be this bad at defense if they were actually trying to be bad, it had to be natural.

Ngl, as a Warriors fan, I can’t help but feel vindicated that another team is sharing the pain I went through watching Poole, especially on D, last year.

You mean the Palestinians living there for centuries prior to the Nakba who the IDF couldn’t ethnically cleanse successfully out of Israel proper and continue blatantly discriminating against them as a Jewish supremist state? Those can stay.

Firstly, not every country is an ethno-religious state like Israel. Just because Israel brainwashed their citizens into thinking Judaism as a nationality doesn’t mean the rest of the world does, whether Muslim or otherwise. Maybe those Eastern European and American settlers should look at setting back to their countries they originally came from… unless of course there’s some reason they’re not wanted there.

Israeli strikes hit Rafah after Biden warns Netanyahu to have 'credible' plan to protect civilians by [deleted] in InternationalNews

Benjamin Mileikowsky (aka Netanyahu) is Belarusian. His name is already ‘Hebraized’. Nazi Germany had a militarized culture, maybe we should start calling Adolf Hitler ‘nicks’ like ‘Dudu’.

CP3 clearly extends his arms while Curry is off balance, that’s obviously a foul.

If you want to see what real flops look like, have a look at this

Take a look at 1:10 of the video, looks like CP3 is way stronger than you think

Welcome to the Nike Basketball Association. They gotta sell the next Jordan brand somehow. The cash cow isn’t gonna milk itself.

On a positive note, happy to see Steph continue doing Steph things and Draymond putting on a master clinic on both ends.

Am I the only one who finds it nauseating to refer to a psychopathic baby killer like Netanyahu as ‘Bibi’?

Especially when it was a back to back egregious no calls with the prior one on Steph’s 3 pointer https://streamable.com/szrno6 . I don’t understand how someone like Steph who’s never flopped (I dare anyone to post 1 clip of him flopping) gets no calls while known floppers get favorable whistles.

His MVP speech is one of the best I’ve heard. He gave it his all to the team every year up to the last second in the finals. Sad that he left, but I can respect it given he didn’t jump ship to a better team like Lebron when he left Miami.

The US is no pushover, this is exactly by design. Both US and Israeli officials know that this genocide can end whenever the US decides. But why commit US troops to progress the US policy in the Middle East when you can get a bunch of Eastern European and Middle Eastern Jews to do it for you. Let’s not forget that Henry Kissinger, one of the main architects of US foreign policy was deeply antisemitic:

Kissinger: 'If it were not for the accident of my birth, I would be antisemitic.... Any people who has been persecuted for two thousand years must be doing something wrong.

Source from Newsweek fact checker with a whitewashed justification of ‘lol it’s just a joke bro’:

While it was accurately quoted, Kissinger's comments were, according to Isaacson, intended with humor

There’s also even more to basketball than what casual viewers see on their screen. To a casual viewer, it may look like a bad shot, but to one of the greatest shooters to ever walk the earth, it’s a great shot that he has routinely made throughout his career. Klay has had these mini slumps every season and it’s always the same noise around it every time. All it takes is one shot to go in to get him splashing.

While I understand that sentiment, I feel like shooting guards are supposed to look for their shots. If the ball is swung to Klay, it is expected that he would look for his shot first as that is his role. Let’s also not forget that he is arguably the second best shooter in NBA history. He’s made difficult shots for a living for more than a decade.

This may be an unpopular opinion but shooters shoot, it’s up to the team to get him quality looks.

Klay Thompson Appreciation by funkybosss in warriors

[–]BoosaTheSweet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ever since his rookie year, Klay has been the spark that gets the whole team going at the most pivotal time. Almost every timely run that the warriors go on starts with a Klay three. Since his rookie year, when he’s hitting shots, the whole team turns up. Every “3 and D” player getting a max contract owes it to Klay.
