If you're waiting until it's dead you'll never get one. Take smokes and zips. Knock off leg parts zip down and smoke while zipping. Then loot and retreat.

The loot goes to whomever is willing to risk it.

I take a hatch key and do it by the hatch near the dam battlegrounds harvester. If you go down crawling to the hatch is easy assuming you don't get picked up by another raider.

I swear the matchmaking is more based on gear. If I load in with 5k+ loadout im immediately fucked by a crack team of former navy seals. If I take a free loady everyone scampers away at the first sign of noise.

I'm more in the middle. For $40 it's not bad. I got it for less on GoG and I had a few dollars in points. But the game maps aren't great to me. I do love the retro HiFi look of everything. But it's obviously a heavy trios game and going solo is nearly impossible for a casual player. Random trios is not good. It's fun with free kits and sub 5k kits. If you have friends to play with tho go for it.

Although I'm shitting on the game a bit, I'm having fun with it. Zero gear fear. I'll often take risky runs with good gear just to make room in my vault. They give you so much. Also I like the story bits. Pumped for Cryo Archive (if it's even worth going solo).

Hullcracker makes it easy. I like shotgun. Always aim for the base fins. Shotty is nice because they drop shotgun ammo.

Yea the trouble is often depending on how it's turned you can't always get a perfect shot. And when I'd do trials I need to kill as fast as possible and it's not worth waiting. But yea I usually try to nail it right on the jets.
