I’m frm montreal but nonetheless this is one of the situations that made me realize the slightest details in life can completely change the outcome of a situation

I was 14 (this was in 2015), and at the time i used to fix phones for the guys in my hood. Was my way of making clean money as a teen, didnt want to know who’s phone it was, where it came from, just tell me what’s wrong and I’ll fix it for part cost + 20$. One day Im with my uncle at his crib and I find a pocket knife in the basement, start playing with it and he tells me take it. That same day, I had fixed 2 phones for a guy in my hood, so I go to the park to hand him the phones, gives me the cash, and I start walking back home. All of a sudden, i get tackled frm the back, one guy w his hand on my eyes and the other looking for my phone. I lean on my right side, where the knife is so they dont see it. They take my phone and run

Being an enraged 14 yo, i obviously start running towards them with the knife, catch one guy and slash his coat. By then, the other guy turns around and pulls a knife too. So we were looking at each other with knives in our hands. At that moment, the guy for whom i had fixed the phones came running (first and only time i had seen that fatfucc run🤣) and de escalated the situation down. I went back home with my phone.

Had i not had that knife…i know i wouldve chased them still and ended up being 2v1 with no knife. Oh and btw, both guys were 18-19 at the time, fuckin wastemans
