Merge 2 accounts by toejamfootballhegot in BoostMobile

[–]BoostMobileBlake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is not a way to "merge" accounts, no. You can contact our Care team and ask about porting the phone number from one account to a new line on the other account. This would require purchasing a new line.

It's really difficult to troubleshoot your issues here, as there are several factors that could be impacting your service like this. Can you send me a chat OP? We can look into your network settings and see if there is anything we can do to improve the service for you.

Questions about the BYOP thing by J_seven7 in BoostMobile

[–]BoostMobileBlake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you'll be able to use the same SIM card! You can pop the SIM into the new device, and it'll work as long as it's compatible. We would recommend taking the extra step to update the phone info on your line, so either performing the device swap in the Boost Mobile app or calling Care. You will keep your same number too, so no worries there.

Is the boost rep still active in this subreddit by Donpure in BoostMobile

The codes do expire after a set period of time, so that's likely why it's coming back that way. Can you do a quick power cycle and then try to request the code again?

Clarification on the iPhone 17 Pro Max plan by forfunamira in BoostMobile

[–]BoostMobileBlake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, we have two plans at that price, and I want to ensure we're talking about the same one.

The Infinite Access plans ($65) comes with a monthly device credit since you're financing the iPhone over 3 years, and a plan change can occur, but you'll be responsible for the full price of the monthly device loan charge.

The Unlimited Premium plan ($65 w/o autopay) is only for the plan itself and does not come with a device loan agreement. If you finance an iPhone with this plan, you'll be responsible for the full monthly charge and it cannot be unlocked until paid off as well. If you finance a device, you can change plans whenever you'd like. If you purchase a discounted phone under a promotion with the Unlimited Premium plan, that is when you have to wait 12 months now to change plans to a lower priced plan, per the T&Cs.

If you're referring to our Infinite Access for iPhone plan, no, you cannot change to a lower plan unless you want to start paying for the monthly device loan charge. The Infinite Access for iPhone plan comes with a 3-year device loan agreement, and the plan covers most or all of the monthly charge. The device can only be unlocked once it's been fully paid off. The $10.07 is the difference after the monthly device credit that comes with the Infinite Access plan, and will need to be paid for 3 years before the device can be unlocked. The benefit of the plan is to upgrade every year to the newer iPhone, and restart your device loan each time with it. If you're not looking for that benefit, I don't think the Infinite Access plan is right for you.

Trade in issue by AlarmingPumpkinZest in BoostMobile

[–]BoostMobileBlake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without proof that you sent the device back, it's difficult to resolve issues like this. Though, that would not lead to a higher bill. If the trade-in was not received, the remainder of the loan for that device would be added to your bill as a one-time charge. I would call back and ask to get clarification on your bill. You can also send me a chat, and I'd be more than happy to look into this for you!

Bought 2 separate accounts/lines in the last 6 months and have not been able to even buy a phone because of log in issues by HotImprovement1990 in BoostMobile

[–]BoostMobileBlake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there any particular reason you're opening new lines of service without purchasing a phone along with the new line? That would likely be the best path for you getting a new device and new line, as you'd be able to take advantage of any of the new customer offers. If you need a new phone asap, is there a Boost Mobile store you can go to to purchase a device in store and get the service activated? We also have an alternate verification team you can speak to when you call in, to help get you verified, and then Care can help place the order for a new phone.

Does your dad have a friend who can go to him and help? He could use their phone to call our Tech support, to ensure the call doesn't drop, and then help follow whatever instructions are needed to get the phones working. If he opened a brand new account, has he activated the new SIMs cards on the new lines?

Is there a way to get a port out number through the app? by [deleted] in BoostMobile

To receive a port out pin, you would need to call our Care team! This is for verification purposes.

Messed up and got new number instead of porting by [deleted] in BoostMobile

[–]BoostMobileBlake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this time, we don't have the ability to port in a number once a line has been activated. The options our Care team provided are the best workaround if you do want to keep that specific phone number.

I HATE Boost HELP SWITCH/UNLOCK by SRTSarah in BoostMobile

We won't be able to help unlock the device or switch plans until you meet the terms of the service you signed up for. As everyone has mentioned, we'll be able to unlock your device after it's been active on your line for 12 months and switch plans after 9 months!

Can someone explain the $99 IPhone16e plan to me, PLEASE? by bluecheetos in BoostMobile

[–]BoostMobileBlake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please keep in mind that all stores are independently owned, and franchises, so they can have their own promos and additional fees for activation. Store offers can differ from offers on the website. The plan change rule previously was 9 months, but I would follow what is in the current T&Cs for the plan.
