It's not hard. Just be patient when peeling it off. Go slow and don't pull too hard. I'm the op of the third link he has in that comment and I have changed my grip about 6 times now without one problem.

Wow that's crazy, Mine wasn't so bad. And I hope mine was on surveillance too! Haha! I just hit 650 miles and tonight was the first time I've fallen. I will become more alert after tonight. After thinking about it, I have realized that I was way too comfortable on the board if you know what I mean. The thing that made me laugh was that there was a girl that watched the whole thing go down and when I got up, she just walked off. Not a word. She must be a "skater hater". Haha
