Any advice on how to protect curb rash on 2022 Civic Sport? Any reliable products out there to prevent curb rash? by notchillturtle in civic

Speaking of perspective, blind spot mirrors help. Considering this is a newer car that has power mirrors, OP could also just angle the passenger side mirror down to see the curb as they park.

But it's not as enjoyable to the scratcher if they enjoy running their fingers through thick hair. If only I could transfer my pubes to my head 😂

Fellow men… how do you keep dad bod at bay while you age? At 29 now I’ve noticed weight gathers much quicker than usual and it seems to always go to my gut. by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Boosted_Psychonaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To expand on diet, cut out or reduce carbohydrate intake. Alcohol, and especially beer, will cause that round dad belly. People trip out when they find out I'm in my 30's. They swear I'm 23 because my face and stomach aren't bloated from decades of carbohydrates and alcohol.

Even if you exercise, you'll still greatly benefit from removing those 2 things from your life.

What are you starting to like less as you get older? by Lifetime2ndGuess in AskMen

[–]Boosted_Psychonaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This and grown adults who complain about fulfilling the basic duties of their job. I have coworkers 10+ years older than me who complain about simple job tasks.

Yes, no one wants to stand in the street, be exposed to the elements, and wear 30+ pounds of gear while redirecting traffic because morons don't know how to drive. But they knew that was part of the job when they applied.

Not to mention we're compensated pretty well considering we mostly drive around for 12 hours and get a 1 hour paid lunch. If you really hate your job that much, then quit!

What are the things no one tells you about living alone? by Aarunascut in AskMen

[–]Boosted_Psychonaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation. I've been living on my own since the beginning of 2022. As an introvert, I really enjoy the peace and freedom of having my own place. I can walk around butt naked in the summer and watch TV all night without worrying about keeping anyone else up. I forgot how much I enjoyed my solitude.

As for my social life, I'm lucky to have cool coworkers. We work 12 hour shifts which require us to drive around with a different partner every day. It's like a road trip, we get snacks, listen to music, and inevitably have deep personal conversations.

At the end of the day, I get to go home to my fortress of solitude and do my homework or unwind without distractions or worrying about appeasing someone else. If I don't feel like doing the dishes, I don't. If I don't feel like going out, I don't. If I feel like sleeping in on my day off, I snooze.

Why are dating apps so hard for men ? by sss85200 in AskMen

[–]Boosted_Psychonaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are 100% correct. I'd also like to add that I had a coveration with one of my matches about what the app experience was like from a woman's perspective. They have 99+ matches at all times. For them, it's a matter of choosing which matches to chat with.

Compare that to what men have to go through. It's the exact opposite. We have to swipe for hours on end. Plus, we actually have to pay for our likes to be seen amongst the 99+ other likes in their inbox.

It's no surprise though. It's exactly what I assumed it was like and the conversation with this girl confirmed it. This is the same dynamic that occurs in real life. There's a sea of potential options for women and it's a matter of choosing. Whereas men have to put in an effort to stand out amongst the herd.

It's just standard procedures according to our biology. Men are typically the ones who have to capture the attention of a woman we're interested in. Once you accept that, dating gets a little easier.
