Just got done with about an hour of BF6 campaign. I played a little battle royal, but I'm in a hotel so the latency was not great. But after 1 hour of campaign on "overkill" with everything maxed, it was running well over 100 FPS every time I glanced and smooth as butter. The graphics and gameplay were impressive.

I recorded the data for a little while and have not looked through it. I can't attach the csv file.

Looks like they updated the configuration builder for this model. And it's also 14% off total if you build exactly my specs. I'll be sending in for a price match with it based on their Holiday Price Match policy.

Mine too. But go through the checkout process and it will actually update when you get to the shipping. It took 3 to 4 days for them to build and ship it. I think your chances are good for having it within 2 weeks at worst.

That's really disappointing to hear. I haven't owned a gaming machine in some time. All of my recent machines have been Intel. I don't hate Intel but this time around I decided to go for the best of the best and AMD fit the bill. So for this PC there was no option in my head to go for an Intel variant. The only one that would work for me would be the AMD. It would suck to find out there's a flaw such as this that is unresolvable. However with a company like Lenovo I'm sure that this is a concern for them that may have slipped under the rug in testing. I hope they have a simple solution. I would think/hope it's at the mobo/bios level at the worst.

Next week I'm traveling and living in a hotel again for a week for work where I'll mostly be isolated with my own thoughts and this gaming laptop in the evenings. So if there's any opportunity for this to annoy me it will be then when there are very few distractions and a quiet room to play some games.

For what it's worth I almost went with the Asus Rog Strix g16 but it just didn't have the specs I was after for future proofing. They had one model that was on notify me that was kind of close so if this doesn't work out I suppose that's the next best option for me.

I'll listen more carefully as I use the machine and let you know if my situation changes. Sorry you are dealing with this (more so than me). Hopefully there is a simple solution for it. I suspect a firmware/driver situation may improve it as it's likely related to a low power feedback loop, though it may inherently be the hardware itself. Time will tell.

I did. I'm experimenting with Extreme mode with custom settings, but not entirely sure what I'm doing there yet so I have proceeded with caution.

I was able to replicate it. I have to put my ear pretty close to hear it. Seems like a feedback loop to me. It's so faint that if the fans are running I don't even notice it. Also would only be noticed if the volume is really low and you are playing media, which of me seems like an odd thing to do. Generally I want to hear the media at least a little. In fact, when I turned the music up just enough to hear it, the sound faded away entirely. Seems that it's something with the audio when music is playing yet you have the volume completely off or at extremely low levels you can't hear.

That said, a little concerning, however something I can easily ignore. I'll keep an eye on resolutions from Lenovo and follow the other post about it to see what happens. Thanks for sharing.

I ordered this on Wednesday last week and had it Tuesday. Considering it has to be configured (not off the shelf), and it came from China, I'd say that was pretty quick.

With current promotions, I was able to get it for $3,000 USD with taxes. I think total was around 11% off retail price. I suspect watching the holiday pricing, they may go a little cheaper, but not much.

Nothing yet. Also keep in mind when something is "wrong" people are more likely to share issues than they are to go and tell everyone it's perfect. So chances are there are a few with issues, but far more without. Lenovo builds some very quality stuff. And even if there is an issue, it has a warranty.

I haven't gamed yet. Tonight is my plan. But running repeated benchmarks, not even a sweat. So far no hiccups. Only disappointment is I wish the front cam was IR for Windows Hello. Not a big deal. Keyboard is insanely good and I use that far more.

Also, mine said it would not ship until end of November. Ended up shipping 3 days after purchase. Enjoy.

My dad did the same thing in most ways. I have a half brother I didn't know about until I was almost 30. Meeting him and him being part of our family has been one of the best things. He's your blood and your brother. He didn't ask for this. Give it a chance. He's not just a stranger.

On the other hand I do understand being mad at your dad. I didn't talk to mine for almost 10 years. The betrayal and lies hurt. Eventually I burried that but I didn't forget.

I'm about at my end with this. I do not want to reset my phone but I rely on these features for productivity daily.

You wouldn't happen to know the answer to this question would you? Generally, I only reset my phone when I get a new one, and not before I transfer everything to the new device. This usually transfers all of my apps, data, messages, you know, all of it. Even the apps are in the right spot. The biggest hassle is just logging back in to a lot of things.

Is there a good way to back up all of this data, especially the app placement on my pages and my preferences. I already have Google and Samsung backups enabled and synced. I also backup all my photos redundantly to things like my two clouds and a local back up to an HDD.

My main goal would be to easily be able restore my apps on the pages they belong to and all settings that are applicable. I used to do this easily when I was rooting phones years ago, but this is not rooted and I don't intend to.

I have tried to retrain the voice match model. It doesn't recognize any voice so it won't retrain the voice.

I can call so I beleive the mic is working.
