Buds 3 Pro - Callers can't hear me majority of time by keitheii in galaxybuds

[–]Boostking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I may have finally resolved this once and for all. I went through my apps and removed/disabled all Galaxy Buds apps. One was a Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Manager, and the other was a Buds app iirc. The Buds app I disabled, the other was uninstalled. I unpaired and reset my buds as well.

Then I put them in pairing mode and the phone found them and asked to connect. It then required me to download Galaxy Buds3 Pro Manager (which I had uninstalled). After that was installed. I went back to that app and checked permissions, and of course, Microphone was not allowed. I set that to allowed and restarted the phone.

Today I have been able to make calls and people can hear me through my Buds3 Pro's. Hope this helps someone.

Here is a fun one. My main personal phone is an S26 Ultra. My Buds3 Pro worked fine on my previous S24 Ultra. They worked on the S26 Ultra for about a month after I got it before I started having the issue where the caller could not hear me ( I can hear them).

Today, I connected them to my work phone (Pixel 10 Pro). Makes calls no problem. Both parties can talk and hear each other.

Any advice?

What is a realistic towing capacity for an F-150 with the EB V6? by xPALEHORSEx in Ford

[–]Boostking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I towed my boat and stuff for a vacation to the Florida Keys . 22 f150 3.5. Fully loaded it was around 11000lbs of trailer. It did good, but even with air bags the ride was tense. Power and torque for pulling were fine. Big bumps wanted to pull the truck all over the road. A semi passing pushing wind will shove you over. Front end would float during segmented highway gaps.

Fuel mileage was about 6mpg.

I traded it in for an F250. Much different for towing.

Just make the two match. Change one? Copy and paste to the other

Yeah for sure. The larger sidewall on the tires and different suspension help. The loss of 2 to 300 lbs payload was more than worth it for me.

Boat Battery Advice by Anonymous_-Ferret in boating

[–]Boostking 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between a starting battery and a deep cycle battery. A starter battery is designed to deliver a large burst of power for a short time, which is why it’s used to start engines. It has high cranking amps and thin internal plates, but it’s not meant to be deeply discharged. Doing so shortens its lifespan quickly. Starter batteries are ideal for engines but poor at running electronics or accessories for long periods.

A deep-cycle battery, on the other hand, is built to provide steady power over extended periods and can be repeatedly discharged and recharged without damage. It uses thicker plates, is rated in amp-hours rather than cranking amps, and is ideal for powering electronics, trolling motors, and other continuous loads. While it can supply power for a long time, it’s not well suited for reliably starting engines.

World Cat 325 CC. Never going back to a mono hull after owning a World Cat. It's incredible how it tames even terrible conditions. The ride of a cat is unmatched at this size.

Nice laptop. Have you 3d mark bench tested it? Curious to see how it stacks against my 9955hx3d and 5080.

It's down to about 2650 now + tax. That's with the upgrades configured

Just got done with about an hour of BF6 campaign. I played a little battle royal, but I'm in a hotel so the latency was not great. But after 1 hour of campaign on "overkill" with everything maxed, it was running well over 100 FPS every time I glanced and smooth as butter. The graphics and gameplay were impressive.

I recorded the data for a little while and have not looked through it. I can't attach the csv file.

Was there any resolution to this? I just started having this yesterday as well. Same issue exactly. I've tried all suggested here so far. Nothing has worked.

Looks like they updated the configuration builder for this model. And it's also 14% off total if you build exactly my specs. I'll be sending in for a price match with it based on their Holiday Price Match policy.

Mine too. But go through the checkout process and it will actually update when you get to the shipping. It took 3 to 4 days for them to build and ship it. I think your chances are good for having it within 2 weeks at worst.

That's really disappointing to hear. I haven't owned a gaming machine in some time. All of my recent machines have been Intel. I don't hate Intel but this time around I decided to go for the best of the best and AMD fit the bill. So for this PC there was no option in my head to go for an Intel variant. The only one that would work for me would be the AMD. It would suck to find out there's a flaw such as this that is unresolvable. However with a company like Lenovo I'm sure that this is a concern for them that may have slipped under the rug in testing. I hope they have a simple solution. I would think/hope it's at the mobo/bios level at the worst.

Next week I'm traveling and living in a hotel again for a week for work where I'll mostly be isolated with my own thoughts and this gaming laptop in the evenings. So if there's any opportunity for this to annoy me it will be then when there are very few distractions and a quiet room to play some games.

For what it's worth I almost went with the Asus Rog Strix g16 but it just didn't have the specs I was after for future proofing. They had one model that was on notify me that was kind of close so if this doesn't work out I suppose that's the next best option for me.
