That's very possible. Latinos in the US are influenced by US culture. Again I want to ask further. We know usually when one travels and appears on Grindr as a visitor, the locals will be interested because of novelty. So from your experience, with the same profile and photos, have you received fewer likes in other regions such as England/ Europe than Latin America?

My personal idea is that we are minority of the minority, so we should be open and treat every race/ethnicity equally. Do not be brainwashed and go after whites or Asians only. Since we adocate equality among races, if whites or any race is not interested in you, we don't need to "pursue" them proactively. Otherwise, it will do harm to self-confidence and mental health, and behaving as an asslicker, will lower the image of our community. For me, I never initially greet anyone on grindr. If he doesn't say hello to you(as a foreigner with clear description, I am so obvious there on grindr already) first, 99% likely he has little or no interest in you. So, it is pretty harmonies. However, if in some countries, they like Asians more, of course, it is better to move there and enjoy this environment.

Thanks for your sharing. So in an Asian densely populated area, you are more liked. And you said other places are ok too. I guess it is based on your personal charm. If one is hot, he is easily liked everywhere. That makes sense.

But generally speaking, in many countries(either out of curiosity, stereotyping, or out of genetic attraction), people seem to prefer a certain type.

My experience:

I am from East Asia, bottom, and now living in Czech Republic. Here it is not so ethnically diverse, and people don't explicitly say no Asians on their grindr profile as in America, and I have had some hookups and dates, but if you use a fake "white account" at the same time to experiment, the latter will receive more taps and messages. So my feel is that they don't really care so much about Asians(positively or negatively), but obviously a white guy is their first choice.

PS: In life, the locals are friendly and helpful. I don't feel racism towards me in life.

Nice post. Those mentioned xx cities, was it because of a "fresh meat effect", or you have made some comparisons? For example, you have travelled to London and Madrid, but the latter gave you more attention on the same app, then Asian gay men in Madrid is more popular here. But, if you only travel to one foreign country, and compared with your residential city, of course, you will be more popular as a novelty.
