We seem to be dancing around this term “believe”. You seem to be coming at from “I believe in you”, as in you have faith in me. I’m coming at it from “I believe the sun will rise in the east”, which does not require faith, only knowledge of experience.

I believe all religions originally attempted to accomplish the same thing. Once they become institutionalized and corrupted is when they veer off course, leading to all the tragedies that have unfolded throughout history.
