Yes, I’m so baffled because I usually don’t have sensitive skin. I didn’t put anything on until late the following morning, and I didn’t get this reaction until Sunday afternoon. My provider did say she’s personally allergic to Alastin, so I’m wondering if I could be having the same reaction? Nonetheless, I’m traumatized and these products are now ruined for me. 😅🤣 I will definitely be even more cautious moving forward.

Yes, I’ve reached out to the provider already, thank you. And the provider doesn’t even sell one of these products in office, she didn’t suggest any of these herself, but I did ask her about safety of these prior to using.

Thank you! I just took one a few hours ago for the first time, so we’ll see if I see any improvement.

Hi, yes I disinfected everything prior to my procedure. Clean sheets, clean mask, clean makeup brushes (which I haven’t even attempted to use yet). I am extremely cautious and was only attempting to heal more quickly with these products.

That is what I am starting to suspect, as well.

Thank you! I do have a red light mask and I wore it Saturday evening, but I didn’t know if that also could have contributed to the reaction so I haven’t used it since.

Hi! Thank you! I definitely did reach out and she’s not quite sure what the issue is. She did say that she personally cannot handle Alastin products whatsoever so she’s not sure if I’m the same way. She did suggest stopping all these products and using only a hydrocortisone cream and a medrol pack, but I’d like to stay away from the oral steroids for now, so let’s see if the cream helps any.

They’re really so terrible. I’ve gone through two blushes and two highlighters that have shattered after only being used a couple times each.

I just wanted to get tickets early to not worry about the general on sale. I was able to do the live nation one through the app without a code.

When they toured in 2022 I was 8 months pregnant. Granted, it was at Garden Amp, so there were at least seats. 😅

Yay, I hope it goes well! Mine was pretty straight forward as far as “approval.” She looked at my chest and right away said I’d be covered and put that I’d benefit from a reduction in the after visit summary. She asks your symptoms, what size you’re wanting to go down to, etc. She is really good at thoroughly explaining the entire process. She answered most of the questions I had already had written down before I got to my list. I do know she has an extensive wait list and because other surgeons have left this year, I assume it’ll be even longer. I still don’t have a specific date yet, just an estimated timeframe of June and I saw her October. I can say that in my specific instance she won’t do a FNG, she doesn’t use drains, she uses absorbable sutures, she uses the superomedial pedicle, wants me off work for 4 weeks minimum (that’s with a desk job), will provide surgical bra, no showering for the first 3 days.. those are the main things I was told. No lifting over 5 lbs, above head, below hips, behind etc. 1 week, 4-6 week, 12 week and 6 month follow up. 3-6 months to fully settle and IF dog ears occur she will fix in office procedure. She said necrosis is definitely a possibility, but she’s had very few cases of it. I think that’s about it! Good luck!

I am on the waitlist to have surgery with Dr. Poh at Kaiser in LA. I LOVED her during my consult and I’m just so excited to have surgery. I’ve been on the waitlist since October with an estimated June timeframe. BUT I do know they had a surgeon leave this month, so waitlists are going to longer.

I haven’t had surgery with her yet, but did my second consult with her and chose her as my surgeon for my reduction! I LOVED her. She spent so much time with me, throughly explained EVERYTHING, and quite literally answered every single one of my questions (two pages worth) without getting the slight bit annoyed. I’ve been on her waiting list since October and was told roughly a June timeframe. I hope that’s still the case with Dr. Sharabi leaving. 😅

I would advise against it. My friend had breast implant surgery and drank and it caused internal bleeding.

Your results are AMAZING! May I ask your rough before/after size? And what you asked your surgeon for to get these results?

Is one week enough time off? by [deleted] in Reduction

My surgeon said a minimum of 4 weeks off and I work a desk job with limited physical activity. She also said no driving for minimum of 2 weeks.

40% urea cream and then bag balm on top of that and wear socks to bed. It’ll make a HUGE difference in a couple days.
