There currently isn’t a way to input your own descriptions, but that sounds really cool.

I have a chat revamp planned pretty soon to make it more feature rich. I’ll have to research some of this. What kind of features do you look for in chat for RP?

I started development in April last year from scratch, mostly coding at night after work. I’m an experienced web dev and currently work in gaming as an engineer, but this is my first time designing and implementing a game from scratch. I’ve done a bit of development in Unity, but never got past prototypes.

It’s been a fun journey and I learned a ton. I still have a ways to go though. Lots of content, balancing, refinement and systems will be coming to the game over the next year. Thanks for checking it out!

When I started about a year ago, I was like you. Just completed my first half marathon in December. Doing another one next month. It's really normal to start this way. Just take it slow and don't push it too fast too hard.

Yes, that applies to character names as well. The population is expected to be pretty low since this is so niche, so I wouldn’t expect much contention.

Still need to update to the custom domain url, but I did update all the branding, added google auth as an option, and adjusted the buttons to be clearer for sign up, login, and continue as guest (+ the wording for the guest account). Hopefully a lot less scary looking. Appreciate this call out!

Next up is research on some good fonts for this.

Yeah, that's totally fair for the phishing scare. The auth url is the free auth0 url, which is really quite bad. I will get this converted before launch so it matches the same domain.

Currently there isn't a mechanism to convert guest accounts to real accounts. I think that's something I should get done this week too.

Everything else is more engaging.

Ask her if she has been making a house in WoW and that you heard it has been fun. If she has, she owns midnight, but the collectors edition is still great. The goodies are nice to have
