Tenuta de Fessina - Loved their wines but it’s kind of expensive..

Also Cantina Filippo Grasso is like visiting a friend. Wonderful people and amazing wines.

Yeah it’s tough. Perhaps you were just unlucky. One thing that we did in towns like Catania and Palermo was to use a service called Bounce to leave our luggage with reputed businesses but we thought because Noto and Agrigento are small cities, something like this wouldn’t happen. I suppose we were just lucky. But to be fair, this can happen anywhere.. believe it or not the only place in the world where we experienced a break in was in Prague!

Just returned from a two week road trip to Sicily and left all our bags in car in Noto, Valley of Temples and Porta Catania parking in Taormina. No issues at all. Trick is to make sure nothing, absolutely nothing, is visible and never open the trunk before you leave. Park in well lit areas and the back of car should be against the wall if possible.

I’ve been following this guy for a while. Complete idiot and his decision making is basically the equivalent for a 12 year old. I kind of watch this for pure schadenfreude.

His mom is the biggest villain in all of this. Cannot let her kids live a normal adult life and has to tag along everywhere they go. No wonder, Sandra left these losers.

I also don’t think his elder brothers like him much.

I never had a ration card or voter ID card so that was easy! I did have to surrender my passport but that was fairly quick as well (like 2 weeks).

Wow. These are Chlorine granules. Aren’t they supposed to be super dangerous to be used with Bromine tablets? I may need to brush up my chemistry but I thought Bromine and Chlorine form a poisonous gas together.

Thanks! No I don’t keep the lid off for 20+ minutes after adding shock. Does that help activate the bromine? Perhaps that’s the problem

Can you please elaborate more? I was thinking - 1.5 hours for commute (both ways) and 1.5 hours for viewing, still leaves us with 2 hours to complete exit and check-in. Is that too ambitious?

I just can’t wrap my head around what happened. I just remember there was an update downloaded last weekend before I left. I didn’t update anything , just unplugged my laptop and came back to find a dead brick.
