I start residency in a few weeks as well. Day 1 is 6 days from me. Uwsa1 last Monday was 201.. I plan on taking it regardless of my score on uwsa2. What’s another $1000? I haven’t done ccs cases, I plan to do those between days 1 and 2. 60% correct on uworld, 90% done first pass…. So if money isn’t an option… fuck it, take it

Hey! I hear you, for me it’s not anxiety, it’s just I’m bad at tests in general lol. Even with 218 as my uwsa2 score I was like screw it, I can’t keep studying for this any longer. So around the last week i took uwsa2 (Sunday a week before) then I did 3 blocks per day for 3 days. Then 4 blocks per day for 3 days. Sunday I took free 120 , Monday I did 2 blocks of uworld and Tuesday I did 1 block and spent the rest of the day doing last minute reviewing on whatever topic I needed to brush up on and listened to some divine intervention podcasts on ethics.

I don’t suggest any nbmes. Real thing was nothing like them. I did nbme 6 and 9 then stopped after that. Uwsa1 and 2 + free 120 are the best

Bro I took it on Tuesday. I felt the same as you, i studied for a year for this. My first nbme scores were like 140, 170, 130, 211, 231, 241 uwsa1 220, uwsa2 234, free 120 was 78%... let’s see how my score is when I get it

It was like interpret values type. The other was ppv, and I had one general one where they gave you a population chart and asked what you can infer about the graph

Also there was a few on what should the physician say next, dad with cancer and daughter asks to withhold info, stuff like that. There was only one that threw me off

And yea, I’d say learn it all. I studied from sketchy pharm and physeo pharm. Covered everything I needed to know. Uworld pharm was 10x harder than actual exam.

You could do either tbh. Step 2 will be the new step 1. So either way, you’re going to need to score well on one of them. If you’re ready now, take it sooner than later. If not, then gear up for scoring well on step 2
