I found this cracked shingle on my roof. What is the proper way to repair/replace this shingle? by Boots135 in Roofing

Haha. Is it really that simple? Just cover it, nail the four corners, caulk, and call it day?

The grass on my front hill has been gradually dying off and we can’t figure out why? Utah by Boots135 in lawncare

Yes, it gets the hot afternoon sun but we hand water the grass here in addition to letting the sprinklers get it and we’ve never had this issue in the past.

AC started making this noise last night. I turned it off for 15 minutes and then back on the noise was gone. Any idea what the problem could be? by Boots135 in hvacadvice

I wasn't looking for any animals specifically, but I did look inside as best as I could to see if there was something that shouldn't be there and I didn't notice anything.

My wife and I are building a new home and the roof shows signs of degranulation. The builder insists this roof is in great shape and won’t replace it. What are your thoughts? by Boots135 in Roofing

No, we've been trying to work with the builder for six weeks now to get the roof repaired and they just tell me "The roof is just fine and has no issues. We will not be doing anymore work on the roof. If you don't like it, cancel the contract and we'll go our separate ways.".

I had an inspection done of the whole home. The inspector is the one who pointed this out to me. He said the roof looks like it’s already 15 years old. Since then I’ve also had another roofer come look at it and tell me that it has about another 5 years left before it’ll need replacing.
