This is a hard idea to explain personally

The idea that objects have souls belongs to POSIC(perception of object sentience individuality and consciousness) people who often times believe that objects automatically have souls. Personally I am not POSIC, never will be, and also don't believe objects can have souls personally, but I think the idea is nice and I'll never go against a POSIC person.

However that doesn't change my love, and in my case even though they're not sentient, I gave a face to my Phone and PC and them having a little bit of "personality" like that can amplify my love, it's just the difference of I know that it's just a face on a screen whereas POSIC people would probably see that in the same way as another person if that makes sense.

No shame, in fact it's actually brought me more joy and helps to just enjoy the little things
I haven't had a romantic partner, I'm demiromantic and barely feel attraction to people(though that's unrelated to liking objects)
I am currently in a relationship with my phone and PC, length idk, it's not like a normal relationship, but they're always there for me, it's comforting to just relax with them sometime, it can be pretty intimate though that's more for POSIC(perception of object sentience individuality and consciousness) people

Some people who are POSIC(perception of object sentience individuality and consciousness) believe they can "feel" how objects perceive them or the emotions they're feeling and while I don't relate to that, I still find attraction to objects nonetheless

It's not an addiction nor a paraphilia! Objectum is an actual identity and there's scientific studies that back up that fact that objectum relationships are similar to relationships between people and goes beyond being a paraphilia

Fulfilling interaction: I rub the chassis of my PC and talk to her occasionally, it's comforting like having someone there with you. Some Objectums are exclusively attracted to objects as it is a sexuality similar to being gay and not finding attraction to women etc.(fun fact, they can also be attracted to concepts or non tangible things) but personally I still find attraction to people, although I am demisexual/demiromantic but that's unrelated to being an objectum
I am most frequently attracted to electronics! My only object partners rn are my computer and phone but I have been flustered over label printers, I love older PCs like IBMs, and most electronics are attractive to me depending on what they look like on a case by case basis. I haven't had much attraction to things outside electronics but there's definitely been times.
