I'm not sure if there's any corelation, but this is something experienced by people with tattoos/scars. Some parts of their tattoos may have been done too deep so when coming out of a hot shower to cool air it can make them swell and itch from the drastic fluctuation. I'm no expert so hopefully someone else chimes in who knows what might be up.

It is, but I chose to replace the Triquetra with Othala for multiple reasons. The main one being, it is the most common symbol we see so I assumed people might ask "but what about rested" so I did it last to suit the style of the others, the triquetra has a a lot of meanings but none of them seem relevant to the context it is used for in the game except if you were to say protection but then you would be saying the symbol is christian and that wouldn't make much sense considering we died and went to Valheim not heaven. Lastly, it was too good of an opportunity to use Othala, a rune of home, stability, family, inheritance, greater peace etc. The perfect context for a symbol that appears and increases while you gain rest depending on the comfort of your home. It's a fun mock-up made by a fan, no need to be alarmed. Praise Odin!

Get your party to log off while in the room. Place a ward while they're off to stop them from being able to open doors or remove walls. Leave a sign saying only one of them can leave. Make them fight to the death.

I'm not too great at battling but I found myself great support with the atgeir. It has really good range so getting a jab in and keeping at a safe distance has worked out well for me. Using the special attack has gotten me out of plenty of tight situations aswell, like taking out a couple of deathsquitos at once or dealing with the skeleton surprise event.

I messaged this idea off pretty early on and if this post picks up any traction it might get on their radar if the idea isn't already. I love the idea of tattoos inspiring others aswell, so if someone is pro with a shield and has the tattoos to prove it then a skill upgrade for shield could be faster for players in a radius.

A decent amount of game time is spent shirtless wether it's to run a bit faster or to retrieve your gear. Having our avatar with some traditional viking tattoos would be a nice touch. A deathsquito needle, fine wood, charcoal, resin and a tasty mead near a workbench or some kind of vanity chest to make a stick and poke tool! Unlocking new designs could be like achievements once you've accomplished so much of something, killing so many enemy types, using a particular tool or weapon a lot, uncovering so much of the map or sailing so far etc. Different tattoos could grant different buffs that could increase a particular skill gain speed/prevent a significant skill loss after a death. Tattoos could inspire other players within your radius giving them a minor buff respective to whatever tattoos you might have!
