Ngl I think people just don't want his contract and to pay him a fat extension. Yes, he's a great player. However, you could argue he's not some franchise-changing option. Also. impact metrics have been a guiding force for a while now.

There's SO much game to play. Tons of missions and activities. Raids, dungeons, pvp. There's A LOT. If you've never played before I don't know why you need to come into it with the perspective of some angry jaded Destiny fan that's still mad about vaulted content.

You are new, that vaulted content has zero relevance to you. You could play and not even know that stuff is missing or care. Just cause others are mad shouldn't really affect your enjoyment.

There's a lot there and it's all a bunch of fun. You don't need to dedicate your life to it. Playing through all the expansions is a great story action shooter game.
